The world in modern times is characterized by interdependence,interinfiltration,inseparableconnection and frequent communications.The communications includes flowing factors,transnational economy,trade contacts,science cooperation,technology transfer,politics dialogueand cultural fusion and so on.All these fields have the trends of integration and centralization.Economic globalization is one of the most important and remarkable feathers of the trends.Withthe developments of economic globalization and the progress of science,innovation paradigm hasbeen changed from linear model to network model.This transformation has deep influence to theinnovation of Pharmaceutical industry.Since 1970s,modern biotechnology have been applied tothe research and development of new drugs,which make the network relationship trends betweenglobal pharmaceutical industry value chain participants become more and more obvious.With the improvements of people's daily life,we pay more attention to the quality of life.People's requests and the large market and high revenue make the pharmaceutical industry to bethe most important industry in the world competitions.Pharmaceutical industry is also a typicaltechnology-driven industry,so innovation has more significant in this industry.Drug researches and developments are currently at low-level replication and imitation status.Pharmaceutical industry innovations are still fall behind the developed countries.But China has thepotential of drug market and also has cheap resources for drug researches and developments.Soforeign capitals appeared in our country and attacked the inner research and developments.Finding a proper way to drive China drug industry to realize breakthrough and improve theinnovation level is a burning question.The Yangtze River delta is the largest drug industry accumulation area and has formed severalprimary industry clusters.This thesis is from the co-ordination and innovation prospective,anddiscusses from the drug industry clusters of Yangtze River delta.The main contents are about howto form mature drug industry clusters in Yangtze River delta and finding proper policies to pushthe co-ordinations and innovations among different drug clusters.The co-ordinations andinnovations will improve the innovation level of Yangtze River delta and bring along the update ofthe whole drug industry in our country.There are eight chapters in the thesis.The first chapter is about the research background,significance and related research method and main contents.The related theories are mentioned inthe second chapter.The third chapter analyzes the co-ordination and innovation of industryclusters and establishes the gaming model with gaming theory methods.The main contents inchapter four is about the mechanism of co-ordination and innovation and the theoretical way ofhow to realize this mechanism.The research and development characters of drug industry,thechange of drug industry global value chains and the background of global drug industry arementioned in chapter five.The sixth chapter shows the SWOT analysis of the drug industry inYangtze River delta and presents the new idea about the co-ordination and innovation in this delta.Social networks analysis software Ucinet is applied to analyze the networks about the branches oflarge drug companies and innovation activities in Yangtze River delta.It also presents theproblems appear in the co-ordination and innovation among the drug industry clusters of YangtzeRiver delta.Chapter seven puts forward the suggestions about the improvements of drug industryclusters of Yangtze River delta.The final chapter shows the conclusions of the whole thesis and theprospects of the next steps. |
