At present, corporate social responsibility (CSR) plays a popular role of competitive power in western corporations and society while our companies usually ignored. Under economical globalization, Chinese enterprises mostly comprised of manufactories, face with CSR pressure increasingly from western market and its partner in many ways. Meanwhile, problems such as environmental pollution push Chinese government and society to require more social responsibilities from those enterprises when enjoying high development.The research means to expose its inner motives of CSR behavior of western enterprises on one way, and help Chinese counterparts to pay more attention to CSR and be able to apply the new weapon and regulation on other way: Strengthen CSR in all steps of business and every parts of value chain to develop competitive power.By developing an analysis framework of CSR in normative research and empirical study: definition, development reason, system, conditions. This dissertation get the conclusion: CSR can develop competitive power only by joint with value chain, its transmission role between CSR and stakeholders, as far as suitable inner condition and some circumstance. Finally, establish the relevant model of "CSR—value chain transmission—stakeholders—competitive power".Due to lacking of integrated research about competitive power from CSR by far. This dissertation not only meet this theoretic demand but also gives enterprises relevant reference as well as helps them apply CSR practice to increase their competitive power by abundant cases in its empirical research.
