Study On The Road Transportation Integration Of Pan-area Of Central City

Regional economy is an important part of national economy, and regionaleconomic integration is the trend of regional economic development. Therepresentative form of regional economic integration is pan-area of central city(pan-area for short). Traffic and transportation integration is the basis of economicintegration of pan-area, and road transportation is the most important means oftransportation in pan-area. Therefore, the study on road transportation integration ofpan-area is significant theoretically and practically.In this dissertation, the road transportation integration of pan-area in China isthoroughly studied, based on the knowledge of regional economics, transportationeconomics, operational research, systems engineering etc.First of all, the concepts of regional economic integration and traffic andtransportation integration are studied, the relation between regional traffic andtransportation integration and integrated transportation and logistics are analyzed,and the role of road transportation integration on economic integration of pan-area isdiscussed.Then, the forms, key elements and features of road transportation system ofpan-area are analyzed, the conception, connotation and key elements of roadtransportation integration of pan-area are advanced, the mathematic models of roadtransportation integration of pan-area based on 'objective of optimization' and'principle of satisfaction' are built, and the evaluation indicators system of roadtransportation integration of pan-area is formed.Afterwards, the key elements of road transportation integration of pan-area arestudied in details. In the part of policy and management integration, the meaning andfeatures of policy and management of road transportation are analyzed, theconception of policy and management integration of pan-area road transportation isadvanced, the theoretical system of policy and management integration isestablished, and relevant countermeasures are addressed.In the study of planning and construction integration, the background and transform of road planning are analyzed, the relation between features and roadplanning of pan-area are discussed, the conception of planning and constructionintegration of pan-area road transportation is advance, the theoretical system ofintegrated road planning and construction is constituted, and relevantcountermeasures are addressed.As for the integration of operation, the meaning of operation integration ofpan-area road transportation is advanced, the theoretical system of operationintegration of pan-area road transportation is built, the modes of operation andmanagement are analyzed, and mode of network-based operation is lodged, andrelevant countermeasures are addressed.As to the integration of information, the components of road transportationinformation system are analyzed, the meaning of information integration of pan-arearoad transportation is advance, the demands for information integration are analyzed,and the building modes of information integration and relevant countermeasures areput forwarded.Finally, the road transportation integration of Wuhan pan-area is demonstratedbased on the theories and methods of road transportation integration of pan-areastudied above.
