Research On Growth Mechanism Of Distinguishing Industry And New-high Technology In Undeveloped Area Based On Resources

As an important researching scope of regional economics and industrial economics, nurturing the distinguishing industry is very meaningful for the economic growth and the regional development. It plays a vital role to make best of the distinguishing advantages such as resources, location and environmental ecology for the undeveloped area about capital, technology and management. To nurture the distinguishing industry is good for combining various essential factors of production including upgrading the technology and facilitating a rational flow of them. It is also beneficial to give full play to the advantages about special resources of undeveloped area, as well as strengthening the distinguishing industry based on the resources to fasten the transformation of the dual structure and the economic development of the backward area. The dissertation discusses the growth mechanism about the distinguishing industry in the backward regions promoted by new and high technology.Scholars home and abroad have made a lot of studies from various angles and levels around this topic. The paper attempts to combine the new and high technology together with its relative industries with the distinguishing industry based on the regional resources in order to find out the relationship and working mechanism. Meanwhile it puts the combination into the special location of the backward region, and research the development mechanism and structural changes of the distinguishing industry under the particular structure. The conception and conclusion of this article are of theoretical and practical significance. The method is in the light of quite a few subjects about economics to make qualitative and quantitative analysis, especially in view of Xinjiang which is a typically backward region.Combined with the natural feature such as resources, environmental ecology and location in Chinese west region, the paper systematically studies the basic connotation, the promotion mechanism of the industry, choice and judgment system , structure rationalization mechanism, the choice of increasing route and model, along with supporting system. It probes into the new and high technology's reformation and promotion mechanism to distinguishing industry, especially the important position and function of the advances in TFP. Starting from the new classical economics model, basic model about export and regional growth model and further researching the optimized mathematical model and adjustment mechanism based on the quantitative judgment on industrial and resource structure, the realistic route and development strategy of the distinguishing industry which is sustained by the new and high technology, as well as based materially on the resources in backward region are discussed in the thesis. The feasibility growth mechanism is obtained from the above. It analyses the problem theoretically and practically from the angles of policy and practice with the method of mathematical economics, together with giving out the building of supporting system. for backward region to develop the distinguishing industry from the regulation and rule.The whole thesis is divided into 5 chapters, including the explanation of basic conception and principles, the choice and judgment about industry, increasing route and the regulation's design.The paper comprehensively uses economics, mathematical statistics and particular calculating tools to analyze, compare and comment the main opinion and basic conclusion qualitatively and quantitatively. Therefore, it comes to a series of conclusion with theoretical and practical value. Those with innovation are as follows.1. To develop the distinguishing industry is a basic route for the backward region to make best of the comparative advantages and the afterward superiority. Only through this way can the undeveloped area use its advantages of resources to catch up with and surpass others'economy under the relatively lagged productivity and imperfect market mechanism.2. The basic way to promote the distinguishing industry in backward region is the industry's reformation and promotion by the new and high technology. A logical relationship has been set up between the above two aspects. The reformation and promotion's mechanism of the technology and the request of the technology's capacity are clarified. It believes that the distinguishing industry based on the resources must embark on the road of catching up with the advanced technology and the qualitative development, put the technology on a large scale into the reality to enhance the attached value of the industry and extend the industrial chain. The article also quantitatively analyses the developing pattern about the new and high technological industry of the mid-west regions in China with Solow Equation and OLS.3. It makes clear the choice and judgment standard of the distinguishing industry, along with the mechanism of structural rationalization. The paper derives the choice standard of the distinguishing industry from the angles of industries and resources in accordance with the average choice theory about industries, as well as the structural rationalization model and adjustment mechanism. Based on the above, the article draws a meaningful conclusion about the distinguishing industry's development in Xinjiang through quantitative analysis with C2R Model constructed by DEA.4. The thesis points out the main increasing route and choice pattern of the distinguishing industry in backward region. It analyses theoretically the increasing route about different distinguishing industry caused by resources and location with typical model of economics. Three feasibility growth mechanisms which include technological growth type based on resources, type of stimulated by export based on the market and intensive growth type based on the cost are consequently given out. It also comparatively studies the increasing trace about distinguishing industry between the east and the west in China.5. It sets up a basic regulation design about nurturing and developing of the distinguishing industry in backward region. The specific measures are given out from R&D, technological innovation, policy system, and supporting system.. The transformation design of the afterward superiorities about the distinguishing industry in Xinjiang is put forward at the end of this paper.
