Quatliy management is stepping towards integration, informationlization and specialization. To study quality management technology and methods based on process,knowledge and intelligent algorithms, to build enterprise quality data platform,and to put in practice intelligent quality management technology guarantee enterprises to succeed in fierce market competition.Steel enterprises mainly compete in product quality and customer service.So the best way for them to improve their competence is by improving their product quality. According to the newest development and requirements of quality management, this thesis proposes the concept of process integration-oriented steel enterprise quality management system, and also illustrates the vital technologies involved.Firstly this thesis defines process integration-oriented supply chain quality management system,analyzes the main processes such as purchasing, quality design,quality control and customer oriented service process, and studies their vital problems. Based on ERP/MES/PCS three-tier enterprise integration framework the function model of steel enterprise product realization process is illustrated and then the involved principle technologies arc analyzed.Secondly according to the characteristics of steel production, the process quality management xBOM system is constructed. Its components, structure and character are analyzed. It also studies the process information integration technology and the transformation of EBOM/PPBOM to MBOM, QBOM and MBOM.Thirdly it discusses quality design method and technology for steel products, the steel product description is based on quality attributes. It also proposes order oriented steel enterprise quality management flow. And then quality design method based on CBR is applied in product layer and step layer, and the structure of quality design knowledge management system is given.Fourthly it addresses the thematic data model and an OLAP multi-dimension model in quality data warehouse. And the implementation of data mining technology such as rule discovering are discussed and an Apriori rule discovering algorithm is given.Finally, a process quality management system developed for a northeasten special steel companay is introduced. The main technologies involved are discussed and applied in this steel corporation.
