America holds the balance in China's foreign trade. Trade conflicts between China and America are most diversiform and typical among all the trade conflicts aiming at China. It has become a critical problem to research the Sino-American trade conflicts and to find the corresponding solution through exploring the reasons of the Sino-American trade conflicts in order to eliminate or reduce the conflicts, maintain and develop favorable political and economic relations with America, and improve the China's position in the world politics and economy. At the same time, it plays an instructional role in establishing overall trade conflicts' mechanism of precaution and response.Eight chapters organize this article. The first chapter is an introduction, explaining why I select this topic as the research objective, major tasks, targets and research methods as well as the paper's framework. Chapter Two overviews literatures of theoretical and empirical research on trade conflicts. Chapter Three establishes a political-economic dynamic theoretical game model to explore trade conflicts between China and America on the basis of trade protectionism politics and economics after researching the existing relevant literature. Chapter Four sums up different forms of Sino-American trade conflicts during the three historic stages and analyzes the general status and features of the trade development between the two countries in terms of trade dependence, trade integration and competition of trade structure. The fundamental reasons causing trade conflicts are explored. Chapter Five investigates the influence of East Asia on Sino-American unbalanced trade in empirical view. Granger-causality analysis is used to examine the effect of RMB exchange rate on Sino-American trade and the connection between American trade deficit to China and American unemployment. Chapter Six presents and analyzes several typical cases between the two countries. Chapter Seven puts forward some countermeasures to dear with trade conflicts between China and America from three aspects. Finally, Chapter Eight makes conclusions of the whole paper and points out that Sino-American trade conflicts should be treated correctly. The trend on trade conflicts in the future is expected.
