Up to now human beings have entered into Network Economy Era (NEE) based on computer network and communication technology. This Era not only provides corporations with a lot of business opportunities, but also brings about a series of challenges, especially when network technology is combined with traditional industries, these will pull together to furthest change the world. First of all, in NEE Era the spread of high technology is continuously accelerated, directly making the life cycle of industry and product shortened. Secondly, in NEE Era as the communication technology quickly develops, the trend of market economy and of globalizational economy is getting more and more obvious, and the competition among enterprises has stepped into a "boundless" area, so is the market competition getting increasingly fiercer. Third, in NEE Era people's consumption ideas are becoming diverse and individualizing. The complex and variable surroundings bring the corporations both pressure and incentive. The key to success in this situation is to know how the corporations adapt to the complex and variable environment, as well as what strategies the corporations carry on.This dissertation consists of ten chapters.Chapter one: Preface. This part discusses the academic backgrounds, relative theories and practical significance of the huge corporate business strategy. This chapter represents the main content and framework of the whole dissertation in brief.Chapter two: The significance and characteristic of the huge corporate business strategy. This part simply reviews the formation and development of corporate strategy concept, based on systemic theory to analyses the corporate structure, puts forward the reasons why the corporate strategy divided into two layers the total strategy and the functional strategy, and analyses the characteristic of huge corporate strategy. In the end both the advantages and the disadvantages of the huge corporate strategy are discussed in detail.Chapter three: The corporate total strategy analysis. By analyzing corporate total strategic environment, corporate competence, and strategic opportunities and risks, the corporate total strategic situation is determined. This part uses Enterprise Boundary Theory to research corporate business Scope. In the end the corporate business portfolio strategy is defined according to the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix.Chapter four: The huge corporate external strategy. This part introduces the concept, classifications, motive analysis, and cost analysis of the corporate diversification business strategy, and puts for ward the method of the corporate diversification business Strategy.
