Return To Nature Of Economics-on Economics And Economic Philosophy In A Cultural Dimension

Economic philosophy springs up in contemporary times. It asks us to understand economics in the view of economic being and economic praxis . And only from the cultural point of view , nature of economics can emerge and economy can develop as its essential aspect.This article includes three parts. The first part of the article is about the economics and economic philosophy in natural dimension. In the first chapter, the writer reviews the idea of ancient Greek nature. In ancient Greece, the word nature had two meanings, one is physis which means nature, another is nomos which means rules or ruled nature. The difference was represented by the different academic schools of philosophy, which were Stoic and Epicureanism. According to the theory of Stoic, nature represents reason, and the Epicureanism considered the nature as happiness. These are two different ideas of nature, which are rationalism and the empiricism of nature. The two ideas of nature is the philosophy basis of economics.The second chapter is about the epistemology , methodology , natural law and the naturism theory of human nature, all of which are philosophical premise of classical economics in the natural dimension. Rationalism and empiricism is epistemological basis of classical economics in modern times . Rationalism considered the spirit and reason , which comes from the natural ideas of god , as the basis of knowledge. This is apriorism. And empiricism considered that human's knowledge come from experience .The collection of perceptions constructed the experience . One of sources of the methodology of classical economics is induction and deduction which were proposed by Bacon and Hobbes'theory. The other is the positivism which was proposed by Comte. These constructed the basis of the methodology of classical economics . With the development of social economy , another important conception, Natural Law ,come into being . The idea of Natural Law went through the course from natural ration in ancient Greece to social ration after Renaissance.
