China's Urban Income Gap Is Moderate

At the same time, the research on the suitability of income difference is comparatively lagging, and has many unfathomed problems. Firstly, little paper is touched on the understanding on the inner and outer essence of the suitability of income difference;secondly, most of research on the factor of the income difference are qualitative analysis;and finally, the analysis tools in most research are expect breaking agog. So it has high value both in theory and fact to enhance the theoretical research on the suitability of income difference, seek for the new analysis tool which can properly answer the problem in China, and unified the cognition on the quality of income difference between urban residents.In this paper, all the research and analysis focus on the suitability of income difference, retrospect the developing of the suitability of income difference, analysis the income distribution actuality in urban, and investigate the theory on income difference suitability systemically, which is emphasizing on the design of the income difference index, then evaluate the quality of the income difference in urban using the index, and finally, draw some policy advices in both distribution and redistribution fields on how to improve the suitability of urban income difference.Chapter I is Introduction. In this chapter, we interpret the background of this paper, and point out that following the economy system reformation, income distribution pattern of urban residents has changed ultimately and the income difference between them has enlarged instantly, which hasaroused the comprehensive attention, and engender many research fruits. From all these above, derivate the topic of this paper, define that the emphasis of this paper is to search and point out the suitability of the income difference of urban residents.In chapter Fl, through the retrospection to the development history of income difference both in our country and abroad, we clean up the primarily research work and fruits on the suitability of income difference, which settle the theoretical base of all this paper. This content is begin with the evolution on the suitability ideal, in clue to the recognition on the relation of efficiency and fair, compare with the point of view on the relation between efficiency and fair of the Primary West Economics School and Marxism. And finally summarize the origin and development of the theory on income difference suitability.The objective of Chapter III is to recognize the actuality of income difference of urban residents generally and systematically, and supply positive foundation to the theoretical research on income difference. In this chapter, a great deal of data and many analysis tools are employed to describe and analyses the change and actuality of income difference in urban from many scales and levels. Finally, in this chapter the author give some theoretical explanation on the expanse of income difference, analysis the influence on efficiency and fair, and appraisal the primary point of view on the suitability of income difference in our country.Chapter IV is the core of all this paper. On the base of chapter n and chapter 111, this chapter makes a systemically theoretical analysis on the suitability of income difference, definitudes the essence and character of income difference suitability, point the principle on how to judge it. Emphatically, in this chapter, an innovative research is made on the income difference index, lead the value judgment to Gini index through Cobb-Dauglas produce function, and create a new index. Finally, this paper give some advice on how to improve the suitability of income difference in urban, these advices including distribution and redistribution fields.
