Study On Business Transformation Of Enterprise For Lasting Growth In Dynamic Environment

How to realize lasting growth for enterprise in dynamic environments , which is not only the focal point that enterprises and government have been concentrating on, but also the hot topic that the theorists have been paying close attention to. With the surge and wide spread of globalization and the emergence of new economy in 1990s, the environments of enterprise operation have changed deeply. In order to grow consistently, more and more enterprises are on the way to make business transiformation initiatively or passively. On the basis of drawing lessons from relevant research results extensively, this paper synthetically used relevant theories and methods of economics,management science and systematic science, systematically studed and discussee what business transformation is,why enterprises need to implement business transformation and how to implement business transformation, on the one hand our goal will carry on the supplement to the theory of firm growth and corporate transformation, on the other hand, we will hope that some lessons and consult can be offered to Chinese enterprises, which will facilitate their implementing business transformation.By analyzing the evolution of enterprise transformation subject and its characteristic, this paper argued that business transformation is not merely a single phenomenon of enterprise change, but the manifestation that the subject is deepened gradually, and it is the new subject for enterprise practices change after business restructuring and business process reengineering (BPR),and it is also a kind of growth strategy which a firm chooses contextually in the face of the dynamic environments, especially the dramatically changing environments. However, from the point of view of changing,in contrast to business restructuring and BPR, business transformation which is characteristic of more system, more revolutionary, more target and higher risk,etc.At the same time, comparing with diversification, business transformation is characteristic of process, more orientation and higher target ,etc.Based on the theory of the enterprise, this paper rethinked the essence of firm and the logic of firm growth.
