Sustainable development has become the focus in the world as an entirely new development perspective. Land and resources are the important material basis of development of human society, and their sustainable of exploitation is the important guarantee for achieving sustainable development of society and economics. In recent years, many scholars have studied sustainable development of land and resources and have obtained quite a few achievements, but none of them are based on systems perspective. Based on the previous research works, this dissertation studies the evaluation on sustainable development of system of regional land and resources and its coordination with systems theories and analysis methods. The main works of this dissertation are generalized as follows. Systems theories play an important role in studying sustainable development of system of the region land and resources. In chapter 2, with the ideas of systems theories, we construct composite system of land and resources and discuss its characters and co-relations among its sub-systems from viewpoint of the internal relations among economics, environment, Society and population in exploiting land and resources. In chapter 3, we make systematic analysis on the behavioral evolution characters of composite system of regional land and resources. We analyze the sustaining evolution pattern of composite system of regional land and resources with the growth curve of development system, and discuss the ways of the realization of sustainable development for the system. The coordination of composite system are also analyzed with self-organization theory, based on which we give the quantitative description of the coordination of composite system of regional land and resources, meanwhile, chapter 3 describes the process of the realization of sustainable development of system of land and resources with multi-objective analysis, and discusses the self-organization mechanism of composite system of land and resources with non-balance systems theories. Based on a synthetic analysis and review on present situation of the research on the sustainable development evaluation index system, principles and methods are established for a new sustainable development evaluation index system, which is constructed in view of the level of development, sustaining and coordination, and the co-relations between resources end economics, environment, society and population. We also carry out evidence analysis on the situation of Hebei province with Multi-gradation gray synthetic evaluation methods. We give the definition of coordination of composite system of regional land and resources, establish the quantitative analysis methods of system coordination level, and construct analysis index of sustainable development coordination of system of land and resources. In chapter 5, Evidence researches are also carried out with the reality of Hebei province by theories and methods of gray system in this chapter. Chapter 6 establishes the control system of the coordination of composite system of land and resources, and discusses the ways and measurements of systematic control on the realization of sustainable development of resources system. In this chapter, we steady are problem and give the common pattern of early warning system. The hall for workshop of metasynthetic engineering is a science method to solve the problems in complex huge systems, therefore, me also discuss how to use the method to study sustainable development of system of land and resources.
