Study On The Coordinated Urban-rural Economic Development In Hubei

The disequilibrium development of the urban and rural economy is a common problem that countries all over the world face in the course of economic development, and it was attached great importance and attention to by the countries all over the world. Its meaning is more self-evident. In China, as to a agriculture and large country in population, the urban and rural economies have very obvious disparity, the development of the countryside far lags behind the city, and these problems have caused the domestic demand to be insufficient and with severe unemployment. In order to turn back such bad situation of development in urban and rural areas rapidly, in November of 2002, the 16th National Congress of Communist Party of China proposed a strategy of the coordinated urban-rural development in time. Then, how to realize the strategy effectively in the whole country is being thinked earnestly by the theory circle, and it is difficult for real workers to explore .For this reason, the author takes Hubei of large province of agriculture as an example, carrying on system deep research and analysis on the coordinated urban-rural development in Hubei, putting forward the corresponding countermeasure and suggestion and thinking of system innovation. Undoubtedly there are important theory and practice meaning to Hubei, middle part and even national urban and rural economies development.This dissertation uses agricultural economics synthetically, knowledge and principle in such disciplines as industry's economics, regional economics, comparative economics, econometrics, studying and agricultural natural science of international trade, etc., and follows the theory and unified principle of practice, and adopts the macroscopic analysis to combine with micro-analysis, positive research and standardizing research combining together, qualitative analysis combining with quantitative analysis and comparative analysis and such many kinds of methods as statistical analysis ,etc, and launchs system deep analysis appraise to pool in urban and rural areas main content of economic development in Hubei, and draws corresponding policy meaning and basis.The dissertation, apart from the introduction comprises of nine chapters in the order of inner logic sequence. The introduction clarifies the purpose and significance of the research and the overseas and domestic research trends, gives a general narration of the guideline, research methods, basic thought and framework of the dissertation and induces the maininnovative points of the dissertation and problems to be further studied. Chapter one compares several to the state of development of urban and rural economies of Hubei through a large number of datum materials, and the gap of development of urban and rural economies of Hubei is very obvious. Then chapter one carries on in-depth analysis to the influence factors formed the gap of development of urban and rural economies of Hubei. Chapter two analyses the theory of the coordinated urban-rural economic development in Hubei. Have introduced the theory, essential characteristic and objective necessity of a coordinated urban-rural development at first, then chapter two introduces several classical theory theories of economic development in urban and rural areas.
