As an important factor of production, the role of knowledge in business growth has been widelyappreciated, knowledge management is increasingly becoming the topic of enterprise management.From the process perspective of the knowledge management, knowledge management activitiesincluding knowledge acquisition, knowledge transfer, knowledge storage and knowledgecreation, and knowledge transfer is the key task of knowledge management activities. In the past,scholars' study on knowledgetransfer across organizations led by staff turnover had remainedmostly in regarding staff turnover as the way of knowledge transfer,thought that employees flowedacross organizations representing cross-organizational knowledge transfer, affecting factors andmechanisms on knowledge transfer led by staff turnover needs to be further in-depth studied. Thisdoctoral dissertation first theoretically analyzed the knowledge transfer process and mechanism ledby staff turnover, and built the knowledge FDI transfer theoretical framework based on employeeturnover combining with the specificity of staff turnover;secondly, conducted a theoreticallyanalysis and empirical research on influencing factors and mechanisms on FDI knowledge transferled by staff turnover on the basis of this theoretical analysis framework; Finally, conducted atheoretical analysis and empirical test on the role of different knowledgeintegration mechanism brought about knowledge transfer performance.This doctoral dissertation consists of six sections, contents of each chapter areorganized as follows:The First Chapter: Introduction. This section presented the paper's backgrounds andstudying significance, indicated the study object, research methods and innovation, andfinally introduced the research framework and content arrangements.The Second Chapter: Relevant Literature Review. This section reviewed and combed researchof knowledge transfer, combed the content and classification of knowledge and knowledge transfer, channels and methods of knowledge transfer, affecting factors of knowledge transfer, industrialclusters and knowledge transfer, staff turnover and knowledge transfer, and conducted a summary onthe basis of above-mentioned, pointed out that knowledge transfer research needed to be deepenedbased on staff turnover, finally, explained previous studies give the revelation of this study.The Third Chapter: The Analytical Framework of FDI Knowledge Transfer Based onthe Employee Turnover. This section introduced the FDI knowledge transfer's processand mechanism based on the specificity of FDI knowledge transfer brought about staffturnover, and pointed out limits of previous analytical framework of knowledge transfer inorder to build a new of FDI knowledge transfer analytical framework based on employeeturnover.The4th Chapter: Empirical Research One: Empirical Research on Affecting Factorsof FDI Knowledge Transfer. Firstly, theoretically analyzed the action mechanism of foreignemployees'features,knowledge properties, situational factors, knowledgereceiverintention ofdomestic enterprises staff and knowledge absorption capacity affecting FDI knowledge transfer andcarried out theoretical hypothesis, then built structural equation model and putthe questionnaire sample data into the model for computing to empirically test the proposed researchhypothesis. At last, put forward policy recommendations according to the above conclusions.The5th Chapter: Empirical Research Two: Empirical Research Based on KnowledgeIntegration Mechanisms. This section theoretically analyzed knowledge integration mechanism ofdomestic enterprises that received FDI knowledge, then built structural equation model, and putthe questionnaire sample data into the model for computing to exploratory exam theproposed research hypothesis, and further to analyzed knowledge integration mechanisms ofdomestic enterprises through a case, finally, put forward policy recommendations according to theabove conclusions.The6th Chapter: The Conclusions, Limitations and Further Research Directions. Thispart summarized the conclusions of this article, and pointed out the limitations of this studyand future research prospects.
