Study On Mordernization Of Labor Value Theory

The modernization of the Labor Value Theory is not only an important part of turning Marxist economics into contemporary era and the necessity to seek for development for itself, but also the reality need of the scientific theory on the new change and new development of current labor field and distribution field. Thus, a systematic research is necessary.First, the paper respectively reviews the centennial debate history of Labor Value Theory home and abroad. Then it comments on the ideas of these controversies and probes into the foreign scholars'main points of such questions, the meaning of Labor Value Theory, the source of value creation, labor reduction and the value transformation. It also discusses the domestic scholars'main views on the definition of productive labor and non-productive labor, whether labor is the only source of value creation, the application scope of Labor Value Theory, the validity of the core of Labor Value Theory and the history limitation of Labor Value Theory. Finally, it extracts the important enlightenment from the centennial debate home and abroad to persist in the Labor Value Theory now.Second, The paper promulgates the inevitability of modernization of Labor Value Theory from four internal characters of Marxism. It also announces the importance of mordernization from the theoretical status and practical value of Labor Value Theory. It still proclaims the possibility of mordernization from related problems, contained essence and guiding function of Labor Value Theory. Finally, it proposes the basic tasks of mordernization, namely respecting the theory premise, returning the theory truth, mining the theory essence, pointing out the theory defects and riching the theory connotation.Thirdly, paper reviews the development history of Labor Value Theory and then systematically analyzes the theory connotation of Labor Value Theory, which would help for comprehensive understanding of this theory and make theory upholstery for its mordernization analysis. On the basis of the theoretical analysis, paper focus on the theoretical and realistic challenges currently of Labor Value Theory. It analyses the theoretical challenges, including factor value theory, utility value theory, balanced value theory, innovation value theory. It also analyses the realistic challenges, namely the new questions related to labor and distribution field. Combined with the reality, the paper analyzes the manifestation and enlightenment of mordernization of Labor Value Theory. In terms of labor theory, it analyses the division of labor forms, the definition of labor nature and the status of various labor, which realizes the combination of mordernization of Labor Value Theory and productivity development. In terms of value theory, bounded with status of distribution in socialist society, it clarifies relations between value creation and distribution, correctly takes cognizance of the distribution system in the primary stage of socialism, faces up to the diversity of influence factors of income distribution, then realizes the combination of mordernization of Labor Value Theory and collective prosperity.Finally, paper proposes the conclusion analysis of the whole research and analyzes three aspects which should be grasped on the the mordernization of Labor Value Theory. First, from the background and the historical contributions of Labor Value Theory, we should recognize the limitation and rationality of this theory. Second, from the theory value, we should insist and dig the important theoretical value of Labor Value Theory and guide the socialist economic construction now. Third, from the specific methods of promoting the mordernization, not only must we attach the importance to the general rule proclaimed by Labor Value Theory, which would be benefit to the up-dating and innovation of theory, but also attach the importance to the new characteristics and trends of labor and distribution field of present Chinese market-oriented economy operation, which will be benefit to rationalize the distribution relations and protect the laborers'interest.
