Research On Pharmaceutical Industry Security Of China And Its Evaluation

Driven by the progress of economic globalization and regional economic integration, all countries are paying more and more attention to so-called non-traditional securities including economy, environment, energy, culture, information and public health, etc. meanwhile focusing on such traditional securities as military security and political security. As important part in economic security, industrial security is becoming more and more important. Pharmaceutical industry is an important component in the national economy, being a sensitive industry involving in national welfare and people's livelihood and public health. It plays an essential role in family planning, disaster and epidemic prevention, military demand preparation as well as advocating economic development and social improvement. It combines traditional industry and modern industry, being an industry closely related to first, second and third industries. The security of pharmaceutical industry is extremely important for China, the largest developing country with more than 1.3 billion population. It is significant for enriching theories of industrial security and exploring evaluation methods of industrial security to systematically analyze the influential factors, scientifically evaluate the industrial security status and look for feasible measures to enhance the security of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry.Based on the theory of industrial security, the thesis paper has comprehensively applied theories of economics, management and extension methods to discuss the theory of security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry; specifically analyzed the development efficiency of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry and the influential factors of industrial security; given evaluation index system to the industrial security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry and use the method of analytic hierarchy proeess(AHP) of improvement to establish the weight of the evaluation index system to the industrial security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry. The paper has also combined the knowledge of extension engineering to carry out an evaluation on the industrial security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry with the method of analytic hierarchy proeess(AHP) of improvement. According to the evaluation result, countermeasures for improving the security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry have been given persistently.First, comprehensive summary has been given to the development process of the industrial security theory as well as connotations, characteristics, causes and evaluation methods of domestic and foreign experts to industrial security at present, pointing out the insufficiencies in the research. Second, DEA model has been used to analyze the development efficiency of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry, meanwhile based on the theory of industrial security, aiming at the characteristics and the current situation of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry, researches have been done on definitions, connotations and basic characteristics of the security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry. Third, based on the theory of industrial security, the"golden shield"model of influential factors on the security of pharmaceutical industry has been established. At the same time, as one critical influential factory to the Chinese pharmaceutical industry, independent creativity has been taken into sufficient consideration to make attempts on the enrichment of security theory of Chinese pharmaceutical industry. Fourth, according to the index system design principle with combination of connotations, characteristics and influential factors of the security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry, the evaluation index system for security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry has been established, which systematically analyzes the current situations of all indexes of security of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry. Improved analytic hierarchy proeess(AHP) method has been used to establish the weight of the evaluation index system to the industrial security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry. Fifth, aiming at the characteristics of security evaluation of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry, separate extension evaluation method has been used to structure the separate extension evaluation model of the security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry based on extension engineering, and general situation of the security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry has been scientifically evaluated. According to the evaluation model, evaluation has been carried out and a brand-new conclusion has been drawn on the security of Chinese pharmaceutical industry. At last, based on the evaluation system and the evaluation result, the countermeasures and strategies for improving the security of the pharmaceutical industry have been researched persistently.
