Liaoning Newspaper in modern times was initiated and developed at the end of Qing Dynasty with imperialism invasion of Japan and Russian Empire. However, it started later than others in the whole nation. And the reason was that it was located in separated northeast which was occupied and destroyed by feudal warlord bureaucracy and international invaders. Even though it started later than others, it developed rapidly and made a big influence. Freedom idea from the Revolution of 1911 was spread in Liaoning. Newspaper industry grew vigorously with a large number of circulation and all kinds of varieties, and it occupied a leading place in the development of nationwide newspaper industries. Unfortunately, good times didn't last long and Liaoning Newspaper Industry suffered an unprecedented disaster in the fourteen years of Manchukuo. And this Dark Age for Liaoning Newspaper Industry was different from other places in the whole nation at the same period.
