The dissertation discussed the research and development of TD-series laser surgery devices as know TD02, TD06, TD08 Nd:YAG laser system and TD98 Ruby laser system used in derma surgery. The main work can divide into 8 parts as follow:1. Developing a soft switch half-bridge series resonant charge circuit for TD02 and TD98 systems, which can output 2.07A constant current, maximum 1860V charge voltage and about 3.85KW peak power.2. Developing a single-mesh circuit with 230μs pulse-width discharge of Xe lamp for TD02 laser system.3. Developing a PWM long-pulse-chop-circuit for TD06 and Td08 laser systems, which can output smooth long pulse (Min.1ms,Max.>500ms) pump voltage for flash lamp.4. Setting up a measurement apparatus based on high-speed camera, which can measure the dynamic thermal effect of YAG laser rod at long pulsed pumping, and finding that light deviation transfers along one certain meridian plane and thermal lens is almost negative during pumping.5. Based on the measurement data of thermal effect above, a laser resonator is designed and tested for TD06 laser system, which can assure energy output stably at long-pulsed pumping for YAG rod, and was named mid-site resonator by us.6. Efficiency improvement of TD98 pumping system. With using of advanced pump capacity and alternation of lamp discharge circuit this Ruby laser's pumping threshold energy reduced 42.8%, and repetition rate improve7. Development of New control systems, by which users can manipulate TD-series laser surgery system with no extra induction easily and safely.8. Research on accuracy analysis of articulated arm in surgery laser's light-transfer section. A set of error formula about adjustment and mounting was extracted.Now my research group has fabricated three prototype lasers of TD02, TD06 and TD08, and a new-designed Q-switched Ruby laser TD98, which have been certificated from SFDA for China medical device market.
