The functional diversity and simple structure always have conflict in aviation photo electricity platform. In current platform when we add one new function we must add control board in the same time, which also means the simplification of the platform will sacrifice the function. The purpose of designing digital intensive aviation photo electricity platform is to use the minimum hardware volume to achieve the maximum function. The core of this thesis is to use high frequency, low power dissipation PentiumM processor and real–time embedded operation system VxWorks to design one digital intensive aviation photo electricity platform.This thesis use multitask processing function of VxWorks system, and take software instead of hardware to complete the function of each part in platform. Each function part is defined as one task, According to the management of the task system can control and respond to multiple discrete real function requirement. Make use of reasonable task schedule mechanism and two pieces of CPU to achieve system communication,servo processing,image tracking,electronic image stabilization,auto dimming,auto focus,auto white balance,image enhancement,image guided etc. function. According to the validation using digital intensive development card and tow-axle and four-frame platform developed by our institute we prove digital intensive control system is stable and good communication; The implement timing can satisfy the requirement of the aviation photo electricity platform; logical task scheduling algorithm and communication mechanism ensure the fluency of task execution; enhance the expansibility of the platform.The result proves digital intensive control system is an effective way for the development of multifunction and digital aviation photo electricity platform. At the same time it also provides one feasible solution to the standard design of the aviation photo electricity platform.
