The research topic of semantic Web services is composed by several phases, including publishing, registration, search, composition, execution and monitoring. Among these phases, the semantic Web service discovery plays a very important linking role. Related research work of semantic Web service can be divided into three parts, namely the collection and management of semantic Web services, the expression and processing of semantic search conditions and the matchmaking and ranking of semantic Web services. Based on the related research work, this thesis put the focus on the topic of expression of uses demands of semantic Web services they wants, presents a semantic information processing based condition expression, defines the expression's syntax, studies the expression's processing mechanism and its formalism work. Therefore, combined with the integrity of the search process of semantic Web services, a case study is proposed. The support tools is also proposed in the thesis.The main concerns of our work are as following:(1) A semantic condition expression (SCE) is proposed, and its process mechanism is presented, either. We define the elements of semantic conditional expression, develop a syntax specification, and give its formal semantics, and then show the SCE's application. Semantic program developers and semantic Web services composition developers can use the semantic information provided by domain ontology, by SCE to clearly and accurately descript the requirements of the semantic Web services they want, and then quickly and exactly obtain the semantic Web service resources. (2) The process mechanism of semantic information inside the SCE is proposed. Based on description Logic and its inference capability, we conducted a formalization work of semantic condition expression. A series of transformation rules is defined to descript semantic condition express with the description logic syntax specification, then generates detailed operation to finish services resources search. At the same time reasoning research of semantic condition expression is presented. (3) A semantic Web services search framework by applying semantic condition expression is introduced, combined with the specific case of e-commerce travel booking system, and the semantic Web service search results in the case are analyzed. (4) The support tools of semantic condition expression is introduced, which consists of several function modules which can create and edit semantic condition expression, inference and transform semantic condition expression, generate detail search actions, etc. The detailed design and development of key technologies about core modules are also presented.
