With the need of the fast and exact tracking and locating the aerial target in the airspace technology, there are more high requirements for the angular accuracy and resolution of photoelectrical encoder. As the interpolation error is the main factor that affects the precision of photoelectrical encoder, it is very important to research on the interpolation error correction method for the development of the high-precision minitype spaceflight photoelectrical encoder.Based on the moire fringe of the minitype spaceflight photoelectrical encoder in a mass of references, the moire fringe photoelectric signal characteristic, the factors effecting moire fringe quality and the influences of moire fringe's quality to the interpolation errors are analyzed detailedly, and the interpolation errors correction methods of the minitype spaceflight photoelectrical encoder are researched.The moire fringe photoelectric signal equation is established with the subsection function, which is theoretical basis for the interpolation error correction.The fitting level is researched between the triangular wave graph and the practical photoelectrical signal graph with the regression analysis and coefficient of determination, and the fitting merit test method of the triangular wave graph is put forward.The interpolation error correction of the moire fringe triangular wave photoelectric signal is founded, which realizes the comprehensive correction of the interpolation error for the triangular wave, and the precision of the minitype photoelectrical encoder is improved.The moire fringe interpolation error correction is applied in a 16-bits minitype spaceflight photoelectrical encoder. After testing, the interpolation error has reduced to the 1/3 of the original error. The experiment results are shown: the interpolation error correction method can improve the interpolation precision of photoelectrical encoder, and it is significant for the research of high-precision minitype spaceflight photoelectrical encoder.
