Advanced process control includes data collection, mathematical model building, control algorithm and engineering implementation. The dissertation focuses on research and application on advanced process control strategy in the actual characteristic chemical processes. The content is arranged as follows:1. A platform of Web Service-oriented DCS data exchange is constructed. Data adapters for different types of data interface are introduced in detail which includes DDE, OPC, API and Message based etc. A status Active Object multithread model is introduced. The main structure of the platform and the protocol of the data exchange are defined.2. Discuss the development and achievement of multivariable system modeling technology at first, and then compare the benefit and deficient of the existing modeling methods. Complexity of The traditional algorithm will increase a lot when expanded from single variable to multivariable, mainly because of the decision of the structure of multivariable system. Two-stage hierarchical gradient algorithm is introduced which solves the close-loop problem. And the simulation experiments indicated the proposed algorithm has a good performance.3. The IMC strategy for single variable time-delay systems was introduced. Adopting an improved IMC structure, the design method of controllers for one order and two-order unstable time delay processes was discussed, and the simulation results indicated the validity.4. Proposed two methods of v-norm decoupling multi-variable IMC design: multi-variable v-norm decoupling IMC design and multi-variable IMC design with v-norm decoupling system. Furthermore, the PSO-SQP optimizing algorithm with an improved ISE criterion was used to tune the filter's parameters, and the different v-norm IMC-PID controllers are introduced. Simulation results showed that the new v-norm IMC method has better decoupling effect and robustness.
