Discontinuities within rock mass are very important to geotechnical stability,when as it's difficult to find out the true distribution of these discontinuities in regular exploration geophysics.Adit investigation is a very important method in geological investigation.The method of data treating and basic information collection are very important to investigation result,so it is needed to look for newer and better data measuring method,information collecting method and data treating method to record the geological conditions more accurately,more roundly,more quickly and more conveniently.This article chiefly analyses a new photograph measuring method that suits the adit investigation,develops a special device and explores the suited programs for data collection,modeling and analyzing.The main products are:(1) Applying the photograph measuring method to adit investigation to replace the traditional methods.Putting forward a new close shot photograph measure method that suits adit investigation.This method resembles the traditional optical photograph measuring methods,but there are some distinctions between them.Compared with traditional comparative measurement,this method can provide more detailed information,the measurement process is easier and the data accuracy is expected to be improved to a greater extent.This article uses special devices including the distance measurement coder and three-dimensional compass to get the coordinate.It avoids the fussy processes in iterative calculation of traditional photograph measurement.(2) It develops a corresponding equipment—Gallery Photography Measure System. This system includes the cameras,displacement coders and three-dimensional compass.It then uses these devices to get the displacement data,orientation data and image data and calculates the coordinates of the points according to the adit's parameters.(3) It obtains the equipment's optimum operating parameters according to many tests. The test results indicate that the equipment runs peacefully and efficiently.On this basis it explores the corresponding control software—HAquisit.exe.It sets the parameters of the equipment,controls the data collection,transmission,conservation,and deals with the errors during running process through the software.It uses some ideas and mathematic methods to distinguish and deal with the wrong data.It also puts forward data revising method and develops the corresponding software.The data needed to be revised includes displacement data,orientation data.Data acquisition is triggered by displacement;it runs for once when the displacement incensement is beyond a set value.If the speed of the equipment exceeds the set value,the data including image,displacement and orientation will be lost.This article puts forward the method to get back the lost data and develops the corresponding software.The tests indicate the method used is reasonable.(4) This article establishes optical path diagram for this method gets the three-dimensional coordinates of the adit and deduces the mathematic equation to calculate the coordinates.It also puts forward a method to establish the three-dimensional model according.(5) It puts forward a mathematical model to calculate the occurrence of the joint surface and develops the corresponding software CHIFileAna.exe.The test results show that the method is feasible.It also puts forward some method to results statistics and develops the software CDataDraw.exe.(6) These software refers to dynamic array,three-dimensional modeling,matrix calculation and graph drawing.It may need too much time to develop the software to use the bottom tool purely and the result may be not good.These softwares base on VC++ 6.0 platform and use all of the tools during the development process.This idea not only improves the software developing efficiency and reduces redundant workload,but also makes the results better,shows the results flexibly and gets richer information.
