Research Of Utility Producing And Presentation Mechanism In Intelligent Tourism Destination Information System

As the poor quality of traditional information system, this paper selects the tourism destination decision system as the research domain to explore the effective way to improve the quality of information system. The reason of the low quality of traditional destination decision system has been obtained after analyzing the traditional system. The research of effective ways to improve the quality of information system is launched from two aspects: filtering information based on the utility and presenting information based on utility. The main results are:1. The utility producing mechanism, a presentation frame of the utility knowledge and the utility calculation formula has been put forward based on the definition of utility at some point in time. Tourists decide their destination based on the utility of the scenery, thus the research of the utility is the fundamental to improve the quality.2. Knowledge organization in traditional destination decision system will lead to information overload in the process of information presentation. A new knowledge organization method which takes the sub-scenery as the organization grain has been put forward. This method eases the information overload phenomena and makes the presentation of utility as possible.3. When calculating the similarity between users, a new method which considering the semantic association has been put forward. And this method has been proved to get more exact results compared with the traditional PCC and VS method.4. A basic algorithm for answer set semantics to ordered logic programs has been implemented. After deleting usefulless rules from rule base and impossible literals from initial literal set, an optimal algorithm has been implemented, and has been proved to be better than the basic algorithm in efficiency and extensibility.5. A new information presentation method which can show the utility of the information has been put forward. It uses the visual selective attention theory to arrange the information presentation, which can guarantee the user to grab the key attraction of the scenery.6. A mixed storage model of ontology has been put forward in this paper, which is examined to be better than traditional storage model in searching efficiency and extensibility.The research results also be implemented in a system named "Traveling in Beijing", the detail of the system has been introduced in the paper.
