With the speedy development of micro-electro-mechanical System (MEMS) and wireless communication, the wireless micro-sensor network (WMSM or WSN) has aroused enthusiasm in the world. The wireless sensor network is a novel technology combined with wireless communication, micro-sensor, microprocessor and distributing process technology, which is prospective to be used widely. Generally, the wireless micro sensor network nodes are deployed in desolate area or vile environment and transmitting or receiving data through the wireless medium, whereas the wireless medium is easy to be eavesdropped by others or enemies; at the same time, the WSN are so close to people's living that bring about more exposure of private right because the nodes are tiny and concealed. So the security of WSN is one of the key technologies for application. In order to reduce cost, the WSN node is equipped with microprocessor with limited operation, limited accuracy, less memory and low power that makes the complicated encryption algorithms can't be realized in the node and the node can't store and transmit large block data. The security technology for traditional networks is not suitable for WSN; therefore it is necessary to study new security technologies for WSN. The encryption technology is the kernel of security. Under the support of the Major State Basic Research Development Program (Subject No. G1999033105) and the fund of the Chongqing Science and Technology Committee (Subject No.2005BB2198), the chaos cryptogram theory and key technique for WSN encryption has studied in the thesis. The thesis achieves breakthrough on the integer chaos theory which is discrete both in time domain and amplitude; Multiple chaos sequences with different periods origin from different initial value groups were used to prolong period of sequence with being confused by linear-congruence sequence, at the same time a quick algorithm for linear-congruence was bringing forward and the digital chip core of the chaos sequence was constructed; building a integer chaos block encryption algorithm in one byte Feistel structure which is in possession of excellence of multiple block encryption algorithms.The chaos sequence similar to pseudo-random sequence is fit to security communication only by transmitting several parameters. The long period chaos sequence needs high accuracy calculation.
