Research On Intranet Services Management And Access Control Based On Web

With the development of computer network technology, Internet is not a pure network model any longer, but becomes a new infrastructure for computer applications. Intranet becomes widespread in industry field. Intranet management is not only the management of network devices, but also the management of network information and network services. Since the number of user becomes larger and larger, the amount of information becomes greater and greater, and new network applications and services appear everyday, there is urgent need to implement effective management of Intranet services so as to use network resource conveniently and securely and guard the smooth operation of services and security of information.With the maturity of Web technology, popularity of Java, and the advantage of CORBA in distributed computing, there appears improved framework of traditional network management. But there is little attention on how to implement effective management of Intranet services. We analyze the need of network services management and the new management models which appear in recent years, suggest the concept and the model of Intranet service management and do some research work on implementing RBAC (Role Based Access Control) using digital certificates in Intranet services management system.
