Light scattering theory is very important field about the light propagation and the target's characteristic. This thesis is mainly concentrated on the light scattering by fogs and it affects control and guide of laser-guided-bomb and the light scattering characteristic of satellite's surface. In the aspect of laser guide, when it is low visibility, the light scattering by fogs must affect laser-guided-bomb's work, such as the precision of guide decreases or cannot hit the target. In this thesis, under the two-irradiation fashion, that the light scattering by fogs affects precision of guide of laser-guided-bomb is studied. It provides the basis of theory for improving precision of guide of laser-guided-bomb. In the aspect of the light scattering characteristic of satellite's surface, to "FENGYUN" satellite and "LACROSSE" satellite, the light scattering characteristic of satellite's surface is studied; it proves the reference for detecting and identifying satellite.The follows are the contents and results in this thesis:1. Based on Mie's scattering theory and the distribution function of particles, the single scattering of particles is studied, and the model for scattering of particles is presented, based on the model, the angular spectrum of scattering intensity is considered. To multiple scattering of particles, starting from the multiple scattering equations, for solving the scattering equation, the auxiliary function in terms of the spherical harmonics is presented, and giving rise to a set of integral equations, finally, the model for scattering intensity of multiple scattering is obtained.2. In order to improving the precision of guide of laser-guided-bomb, which works in the low visibility (appearing fogs), the calculation model is presented, which describes the effect degree that the light scattering by fogs affects the precision of laser-guided-bomb. Based on the model, under the ground-irradiation fashion and air- irradiation fashion, the ratio of the scattering intensity of fogs to whole scattering intensity of receiver is calculated particularly. The calculation results agree with the results of experiments preferably. Finally, the error of hit the target of laser-guided-bomb is analyzed elementarily.
