Craniofacial structure is complicated and concern the facial features at the same time again. There are many important organs in that area. The surgical operation that involves craniofacial areas is difficulty, and dangerous, and the facial features as well as functions must be taken into account.The Craniofacial plastic surgery has been put forward the higher demand to medical imagelogy. Giving a accurately diagnosing, and defining the pathological changes scope, and providing three dimensional stereoscopic vision, displaying the complicated space structure, measuring three-dimensional morphology parameter accurately, designing surgical operation footpath road and scheme, imitating surgical operation, and forecasting the influence of surgical operation opposite appearance are asked. For the clinical requirement of plastic surgery, the CT three-dimensional assistant craniofacial plastic surgery systems (CT 3D-ACP) appear. It is a new and developing overlapping branch of learning that rises between late 10 years, and is being gotten especially the extensive application in nearer year. It develops quickly, and is the hot spot that the home and abroad studys and applys continuously. But all CT 3D-ACP exist such or of that kind shortcoming or defect at present, and the invented surgical operation system of clinical use does not far achieve the purpose of ideal, and the majority also is only to cut, and revolve, and measures, and observe the near relation between the organ. The operation is fairly more troublesome, and makes the clinician practice suffer the restriction with not convenient. The research that the Craniofacial operation design by the three-dimension computer and forecasting facial features still is in starting stage at present, and can not achieve interactively and the real time. Only the bone part can be forecasted, and the soft tissue changes can be not forecasted in those systems. The three dimensions image and computer technology are utilized in this paper. The head section data of patient is gotten by way of CT scanning, and the data gathered are passed in the system by self development, and virtual plastic operations are taken and the facial features after operation are forecasted. The purpose of this paper is developing a kind of useful convenience system that can take virtual surgical operation and forecast facial features after operation.Part â… : Establishing assistant craniofacial plastic surgical system(ACPSS)Purpose: to open out a assistant craniofacial plastic surgical system(ACPSS).Material and Method: the software were compiled under Windows 2000 environments with the help of Yingmaiji east image equipment limited company at Shanghai. According to criterion engineering standard design towards the object, the C++ language was adopted to compile the software. The system must possess rich image processing and the analysis ability. It not only possessed the perfect two dimension image processing analysis ability, but also possessed powerful three dimensions handling ability such as analysis, network transfer and data storage etc. During software development course, correlation technique of outstanding image stations in home and abroad was used for reference, and a large number of the research achievements of the members in the past were integrated. The full Chinese user picture interface was used in this system. The system hardware was formed: Pentium 4. 2.66GHz CPU, double 80Gs' hard disk at a high speed, 512MB's memory, 64MB shows the slow video adaptor deposits, 21 inch colour monitor and colored printer of EPSON STYLUS PHOTO 890.
