NC programming is one of the courses that bring perfect economic benefits in CAD/CAM technologies. The key technologies of parallel NC programming and NC machining simulation are studied in depth with the goal of better machining quality and efficiency and based on which a mill machining CAM system called WebMill is developed. The principal research achievements are as following:①Through research on architecture and foundation technologies of enterprise information system, the mainly B/S and partially P2P architecture of WebMill is constructed, which consists of two unit software: mill machining NC programming software and mill NC simulation software.②The method of speeding up NC programming with parallel computing technologies in web circumstance is presented. Technologies of parallel computing and project method finish-machining algorithm are researched in depth, based on which parallel NC programming that can utilize untapped resource in network is implemented.③The key technologies of dynamic NC simulation based on triangle mesh is researched in depth. A novel partial rendering algorithm for triangle mesh named vertex search algorithm is presented to improve animation speed and visual appearance of the dynamic NC simulation. In comparison with VERICUT and MasterCAM, the proposed algorithm gives comparable performance bom in speed and quality of simulation.④Improved Z&N algorithm is adopted and more exact verification result is achieved in some area of part than original Z&N algorithm. At the same time, the area index of triangle mesh is quickly established and speeds up NC verify.⑤Multi-objective and varying parameter optimization of machining parameters based on NC simulation data is presented for machining process in which cutting depm and width vary remarkable. By defining time span combination, the continuous varying parameter optimization problem is transformed to discrete multi-parameter optimization problem and model is constructed. Finally the proposed method is verified with an example.Based on research of this dissertation, two unit software in the mechanical CAD/CAM software series independently developed by the authors' unit is developed, which are mill machining NC programming software and NC simulation software. Then the WebMill system is established based on the two unit software.
