Research And Development Of Multi-Agents System Based On CORBA

With the development of the computer and communication technology, the computer network has played more and more important role in our sociality. Specially, the great success of Internet makes a big change in our life, work and so on. Our sociality has come into a new era- network era. In a word, the network has made a great effect to the world economy, politics, culture and technology, etc.The development of networks make the distributed application come into being. At the very beginning, in order to build a distributed application, people tried to design a new distributed operation system, which weren't be accepted by market and users, Although many technology productions and test systems had been got.In 1990's, a great development of computer and network technology makes the client/server architecture be in flourish. But with the applications became more and more complicated, the shortage and limit of the client/server architecture are full exposed. In order to overcome these shortage and limit, the logic affairs layer was peeled off from the client. The logic affairs layer was named "middleware". Now middleware is the main method to build a distributed application.On the other hand, the distributed artificial intelligence is the result of combining distributed compute technology with artificial intelligence. Agent technology, especial the multi-agent system (MAS), is the main research item. MAS' target is to build agent social like human being social. It can make MAS have more flexible. With the rapid development of Internet, MAS is not only the hot topic of the distributed artificial intelligence research, but also of information technology. It is wide used in industry manufacturing, industry process control, traffic control, agriculture, database, decision-making, education and so on.In this paper, on base of research of the middleware technology and MAS, we try to integrate the MAS and the middleware technology. We present a CORBA-based MAS model and have an in-depth study to the key issue. Then we apply the system model into the network management and network manufacture.
