According to the content and the object, the live newstelecasting programs can be divided into three kinds generally: the ceremony, the event and thecommon. The feature of language of different kind is more or less different. The feature of thelanguage of the live ceremony news telecasting is standard, shipshape and having littleimpurities. Besides, the audience can be enjoyed by the languge. The live event news telecastingcan be divided into two kinds further, by whether it can be predicted or not. The feature of thelanguage of live predicatable event news telecasting is that different forms of language will beused synthetically, and that the extemporaneous speaking is very important. The feature of thelanguage of live unpredicted event news telecasting is that it should follow the politics, and thatthe 'setting up of the agent' will be much more protruded. What's more, the language reconcilesbroadcasting and delivering on the spot. The feature of the language of live common newstelecasting is that it seems exchanging idea with the audience, and the speed is very quick, andthe broadcaster read out the news by the way of explaining.Language is one of the most important links in the production of live news telecasting, andis also one of the most important factors of improving the quality of it. The training of the language should be based on selecting, cultivating and managing the reporter. Live newstelecasting reporter is a special vocation, so the reporter should have special qualities oflanguage, characteristics and temperament. The live news telecasting reporter can be dividedinto two kinds, the broadcaster and the host. The key point of training broadcaster is at institute,but the key point of training host is in the practice of news collecting and commenting.
