In recent years, with the rapid development of Internet, the scale of the Internet becomes increasingly larger. Today's Internet has become a global information, re-source, application and service center. As a basis for supporting Internet, the routing system is facing very serious challenges with the development of Internet, the defects of some key technologies become to hinder the further development of the Internet. In view of the scalability, reliability and convergence issues facing by the routing system of the current Internet, in this dissertation, we design an identifier routing system, and research and analyze on the kej^ technologies of identifier routing.The main research innovations arc as follows:1. Perform in-depth research and analysis on the scalability and reliability issues of current Internet routing, bring forward a customer/provider-nctwork-scparation and intra-domain/inter-domain-network-separation identifier routing architecture, design an AS-path-based identifier inter-domain routing protocol, and analyze the benefits of the scalability and reliability of identifier routing.2. Perform in-depth research and analysis on the current evaluation methods for routing system and the features of identifier routing, bring forward two evalu-ation methods for identifier routing:a data emulation method and a software simulation method, evaluate the scalability and reliability of identifier routing respectively, and show that the identifier routing has the higher scalability and reliability comparing with the current Internet.3. Perform in-depth research and analysis on the issue of the routing policy disputes, bring forward a timeless convergence model and real-time convergence model of the policy routing, give two key convergence proofs of the identifier routing:one is a sufficient condition for robust convergence, the other is the upper bound of convergence time, and show that identifier routing needs less convergence time comparing with the current Internet.4. Propose a real-time solution for divergence, use the changes of route choices to determine whether a router involves in an oscillation, compress the conflict routing, select the stable routes to reach safety convergence, and analyze and evaluate the benefits and performances of the solution.
