As one of the primary application proposals of wireless sensor networks(WSN), target tracking has been applied widely in battlefield surveillance, environmental monitoring, medical assistance, traffic management control and biological tracking etc. In the wireless sensor tracking network (WSTN), data aggregation is often driven by local environmental events and will entail coordination activities subject to spatial constraints. To continuously monitor a mobile entity, a sensor network must maintain an active sensor group that moves at the same velocity as the entity. Therefore, sensor network tracking algorithm should have a good spatiotemporal characteristics, and the multicast technologies such as the multicast communication protocol, Mobicast, precisely meet this demand.Most of applications of WSTN have more requirements to quality of service (QoS) of multicast. However, the existing multicast algorithms and protocols, Mobicast included, focused on the improvement of some local performance, fewer the global discourse for QoS and security, so as to can not be a whole QoS best solution. At the same time, as some important indicators such as the scale of network and security can not be met, and they become difficult to implement.Thus, a dynamic clustering QoS multicast scheme based on the Mobicast protocol, which adopts dynamic clustering and node status self-perceive technology, is presented from the standpoint of principles and framework to make the QoS performance of multicast tracking optimization through real-time optimizationg of clustering strategy. Then the node authentication mechanism is added on this scheme to ensure its security with the optimal QoS security authentication algorithm based on the multi-levelμTESLA protocol and key management strategy of tracking multicast. Finally, the new problems of multi-objective monitoring are studied.The main innovative results are as follows:1. A Mobicast-based dynamic clustering QoS multicast scheme is proposed. In this scheme, the cluster-head node ensures only the nodes with optimal performance can participate in the Mobicast session by adjusting the multicast cluster threshold. At the same time, introducing the self-perceive technology to assess the demand of current QoS dynamically, and utilizing matrix encoding and linear programming techniques to select the best real-time clustering strategy as well. This scheme strengthens the node's review and management before it comes into the cluster, and adjusts dynamically the clustering strategy according to the network topology environment and nodes'status themselves to improve greatly the multicast efficiency and network performance, which ensured the system QoS from the basic framework level.2. A multi-levelμTESLA protocol-based optimal QoS secure authenticastion algorithm is proposed. According to the Mobicast protocol principle, this algorithm makes the speed of the monitoring entity and relevants parameters of multicast applications to vectorization and derivings the level number M of the authentication protocol, multi-levelμTESLA, met with the optimal QoS based on it. This algorithm introduces the self-percieve technology into the quantitative system of the QoS requirements, and puts forward innovatively and analysises the function relation between the secure multicast QoS and the key levels, which achieves breakthroughs in a certain degree on QoS optimization in WSN. This algorithm and the dynamic clustering QoS multicast scheme above combined well to ensure the security of the scheme.3. Improved tracking multicast key management strategy. This improved trategy based on message-driven collaborative tracking algorithm uses the underlying link encryption key as the distribution key of session key referencing to"track cluster key update protocol". The program is able to build a dynamic cluster multicast session key management strategies to better improve the algorithm's security and availability.4. Constructed and discussed the case of multi-objective QoS multicast tracking scheme. Generally, the objectives of regional monitoring are often more than one, and each target multicast clusters may overlap and interference between the complexity of the situation. So the single objective multicast scheme is not suitable. Aim at the different initial position and operating speed among the entities of the multi-objective monitoring, a multi-objective dynamic clustering multicast scheme, which improved the dynamic clustering QoS multicast routing scheme and the corresponding secure authentication algorithm of single objective, is presented. According to the position and velocity of different entities, this scheme proposed the corresponding clustering update strategy respectively, and improved a series of algorithms to ensure the optimal QoS monitoring scheme of multi-objective.
