With the development of radio-communication technology, embedded compute technology, microsensor technology and so on, lots of low cost microsensor nodes make up of wireless sensor networks (WSN) by self-organization, which have been implicated more and more. WSN is crossing multiple subject frontier research topics, underwater sensor networks also have huge research value and wide application foreground in military affairs, industry, medical treatment, traffic and civil application. It has been implicated in the area of ocean environment information monitoring, ocean pollution controlling, ocean calamity defending, underwater assistant navigation and orientation, ocean resource investigation, distributing tactics inspection, torpedo spying, underwater object detect track and location.WSN is an independent compute network. Its basic unit is sensor node. The process of sensor node production is complex, chip, parts of an apparatus, seal, extend copper wire anyone step has problem will lead disqualification node. Especially underwater sensor nodes need higher quality as their making process complex and deployment environment unusual. It is necessary to make up test bed and test underwater sensor nodes, which have great research value and practical sense.This paper research and develop underwater sensor nodes laboratory test system which is based on the frame and characteristic of underwater sensor nodes, bring forward its test scheme, design the test method of network protocol module, signal process module, power amplifier module separately, and test the validity of this system by practice deploy and group network testing. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1. Research of the configuration and network protocol of underwater sensor nodes, analyses the feasibility and demand of nodes laboratory test system, research the main function of it and integer design it, also give the particular design of underwater sensor network simulate system and PC stakeout configure system. 2. Design the test scheme of network protocol module. The test of network protocol module has hardware test and software test. Hardware test include serial port teat, parallel port test and joint compute test, which do with the help of serial port pixie. Exploitate underwater sensor networks inspect bed as the network protocol test tool to test the network protocol, and through group network testing to test the whole network protocol module.3. Bring forward test method of signal process module, give the design of software and hardware design of signal process module test. The main test content of signal process module test is test the correctness of signal pass the signal process module. The signal in the signal process module has been delt with extract features, filtering, removing interference, analyze, colligation, commutation, operation and so on. So this discourse tests the domain transformation, filtering process, frequency division process and digital analog conversion functions of signal process module.4. Introduce power amplifier module test. First depict the performance index of power amplifier and then design the software and hardware of power amplifier module test. This discourse particular introduce the design of analog signals generator, because it is complex and difficulty to do test in underwater acoustic environment, and difficulty to debug when error happen, so we use analog signals generator instead of transducer to generate analog signals, and simulate underwater acoustic environment to do test.5. Deploy test scene in laboratory, actualize underwater sensor nodes laboratory test system. Discover the problem of sensor nodes from test results, improve the reliability of underwater sensor network, through practice deploy and group network testing validate the validity of this system.
