The resentment from students is a mood of unsatisfactory or hostility after experiencing injury or setback in the educational life.The mood bears patiently and is hard to divulge because of its own incompetence.The three essential factors that constitute students' resentment are injury or setback, unwilling beating and incompetence.The injury or the setback are the external causes that resentment to produce,which includes the vulnerable factor that students experience,the affirmative value that students are unable to gain as well as the special schoolmate characteristic that causes anxious survivability and depression.The patient bearing means when facing injury or setback, students constrain their own disaffection or hostility mood in the minds and don't let them give vent on the scene.In other words,students do not give direct emotional or acting response to the impairer or the special characteristic owner,instead,they adopt the way to swallow an insult to constrain their own mood,and the constrain comes from a being compelled and unwilling psychology;weakness refers to students' strength or authority's weak and incompetent,it directly causes incapable retaliation when students receive injury and hard be weak to win in the desire or the competition.Students' weakness can cause it inevitably to bear patiently or to constrain their own disaffection or the hostile mood.Students' resentment has its own initial form.Among them retaliation and envy are two main initial forms.Students will produce retaliation or envy mood after experiencing injury or setback. Students will be always seeking suitable chance or situation to revenge when producing retaliate mood.If they succeed to revenge and obtain satisfaction of retaliation,their hostility can be eliminated.If they can't find chance to revenge,their reprisal will be gradually precipitated in their feeling and be turned into resentment.However,after resentment is produced,if students can make themselves become one to seek to prevail over others,and take schoolmate's special characteristic as their own chasing goals so as to gain schoolmates' special characteristic in their own diligent work, then the envy can be eliminated.But if one is lack of struggling consciousness or motion,the envy can be transformed into resentment.Students' resentment concerns three dimensions of physiological foundation,psychological foundation and social basis.The physiological foundation involves the cranial nerve physiology mechanism which produces resentment.Students' resentment just takes coordination of related brain structure spot as its material main body;the social basis discusses the social root which the students' resentment produces.Human is one kind of relational existence.He always lives in the relation that constitutes with the object.Students will have benefit conflict with the object in relational contact, they experience some kind of injury or setback feeling,which produces dissatisfaction or hostile mood of revenge,hate and envy,and the mood is only the initial form of resentment;The psychological foundation refers to students' weakness of special personality,the manifestation of the weakness is timid,feeling inferior,petty and weak in will.After producing dissatisfaction or hostile mood,if students show weakness of psychological characteristics and do not dare to resist or direct counter-attack to others injury,or students are lack of struggling consciousness after experiencing setback,then the dissatisfaction or hostile mood can not be immediately divulged but be born patiently in their minds and be turned into resentment.Therefore,the social basis is the sufficient condition which students' resentment produced,and the psychological foundation is the essential condition which students' resentment produced.The correlation between social basis and psychological foundation is the full essential condition that students' resentment produced.In other words,only injury or experience of setback may not cause resentment——if students are not weak at all,instead,they dare to challenge injury and face setback.On the contrary,if there is not injury or setback,no matter how weak students are,the resentment has also lost producing condition.It is a disputable question whether students' resentment is valuable.Some people believe resentment has positive value.In fact,the so-called positive value of resentment is both conditional and relative.Besides,the positive value that people understand is not really resentment's main value, it is a kind of migratory value.As a kind of negative emotion,the value of resentment has mainly negative significance.Not only does the negative value do harm to students' development on body and mind,but also it causes destructiveness or attack,more seriously,the negative value causes "subversion" of students' value.The valuable "subversion" makes students disparage the positive value in the identical style of value and approve negative value.In different styles o f value, approving the low level value but disparaging he high level value.The "subversion" of value brings the direct consequence is:students' personality will be disintegrated;students 'moral will be twisted; students' creativity will be strangled and mediocre will be multiplied;hotbed will be provided for the appearance of moral individual relativism.The negative significance of resentment requires schooling to carry on necessary intervention. The intervention must be carried on from two directions:Firstly,preventive measures must be taken to let the resentment be eliminated in its embryonic form,which concerns how to prevent students' resentment mood from being multiplied.Secondly,measures must be taken to intervene students who have already caught resentment,namely,teachers should take active measures to guide students to divulge the resentment mood rationally,which concerns how to unblock students' resentment mood.As far as the former is concerned,schooling must follow these rules:developing students' individual personalities;strengthening students' moral tutelage;promoting students' self-confidence; raising students' communication ability.With regard to the latter,schooling must follow these rules: establishing conversational community;providing appropriate places to divulge;transforming direction of psychological activities.
