In current school administration, human' s object-like existence has led to the separation between human and self as well as that between virtue and life, which is an epitome of modern man' s actual contradiction in the ontological life. School administration faces the "significance crisis" of the times, whose typical symptom is "discipline". "Discipline" oriented school administration treats human beings as objects, and regards human nature as the nature of objects. As a result, there is no room for human' s independent dignity and spirit. The above issue is also shown in the symptom of the lack of ethical dimensions: in terms of administration goals, instrumental good is unduly emphasized while internal good as ends is neglected; as to administration organization, the same problem exists in hierarchy and human' s leadership; as for administration pattern, institutional norms lie high above humanistic caring; with regards to the expectation of agents, utilitarian capability is far more highlighted than the cultivation of virtues; as to the expectation of objects, obedience is thought more high than autonomy. The institutional ethic largely means the morality nature of school administration institutions, concerning the cognition and judgment of whether school administration institutions are proper or rational. School administration relational ethic means the ethic dealing with personal relations in the process of school administration. School administration virtue ethic refers to the school administrative agents' developing inner spiritual character in the practice of school administration, i.e. rather stable moral qualities with rationality as its base, with positive moral psychology as its motive, and with conscientious self and others benefiting behavior as existent ends. The three forms of school administration ethics are closely related; without any one form, the school administration ethics cannot be complete, nor can it exist. In the viewpoints of Existence Theory, the base of integrating school administration virtue ethic with school administration institutional ethic lies neither in external institutional norms nor in internal subjective virtues, but in school administration agents' practical existence, which is also the actual life...
