At the present age, caring for the life has already become a kind of social value to pursue. In contemporary China, caring for the life is becoming the value orientation of the school education. It is the foundation and key of achieving the life-caring education to caring for life in teaching. The thesis attempts to probe into the teaching thought or value orientation, that we should care for life in teaching , according to review the history, explain the theory, and reason the methodology.Knowing the ancient bronze mirror, when Reviewing the long historical river of Chinese and foreign teaching, we can find out that caring for the life acting as a kind of teaching value idea or the thought, glitters in the historical process of Chinese and foreign teaching. No matter Taoist's naturalism teaching, or western romantic naturalism teaching of J.J.Rousseau, J.Dewey's experience naturalism teaching, C.R.Rogers1 humanism teaching, their cores that the teaching should follow the natural instincts of the students, promote student's forthright development, indicate life teaching thought has crossed over space-time.Teaching coming from life is the basic point of teaching, teaching following the life is the way of teaching, teaching reaching to the life is the purpose of teaching, which prove conclusively the theory of caring for life in teaching. Teaching is the contract of life to life, so establishing the life consciousness in teaching, revering the life, taking good care of the life, and developing the life, is required in theory.Experiencing is the experience of the life, a kind of "no-fixed" thought. If the teaching is examined with the thought of " experiencing", and the experiencing teaching will become a kind of life activity or course of the teachers and students', and a teaching idea or form methodology to realize caring for life in teaching. In experiencing teaching, the teaching leads students to realize the life, surmount the life. Freedom, communication, tolerance, and emotion are the life mechanism for the experience teaching to develop.
