Under the background of the times that peace and development as well as human being-based are emphasized, in the case of improving civil quality in whole society, it is a very realistic and important problem to develop quality education and expand modern humanistic spirit in school.In brief, humanistic spirit is a cultural spirit to make a man the Man. It's nucleus is man's outlook on value, world and life. It concretely reflects a realm or attitude to correctly deal with the contract relationship between man and man, man and society, man and nature, man and himself.The dissertation makes a case study on the problem of expanding modern humanistic spirit in Qibao High School. The writer, as a participator and a researcher, integrate theory with practice, follow the train of thought which is "ideological knowledge-phenomenon andquestion-practical operation-*theoretical analysis", adopt the qualitativei studying method.How does school foster the students being imbued with modern humanistic spirit? How does school education transform theoretical thinking "human being-based" into practical operation? On the basis of the rational thinking of modem humanistic spirit and its nurturing, the dissertation thinks the school being imbued with modern humanistic spirit should seize on the following questions.Firstly, constructing a harmonious school cultural environment and atmosphere based on love. School atmosphere being imbued with love is the sunshine, rain and dew to nurture modern humanistic spirit. Only being situated in the such school, can people help each other consciously, bring out great ihitiativeness and creativeness spontaneously.Secondly, enhancing a developing consciousness being imbued withmodern spirit. Taking a co-operative and competitive route. Competing on the basis of co-operation and making progress together.Thirdly, constructing school curriculum system being imbued with humanistic spirit. According to the trend of the times and student's multiple needs, organizing and conducting valid educational activities to promote every student's and teacher's sufficient development.Fourthly, acquiring a relationship between teacher and student being imbued with humanistic spirit. Teacher is a fundamental forces of school education. The teacher being imbued with humanistic spirit should not only have a good humanistic accomplishment and a noble character charm, but also be a good teacher and helpful friend.Finally, establishing the students' developing objective being imbued with humanistic spirit. School should guide students to learn learning, self-management, participating, and to seek the true, the good, the beautiful. Making a man the Man.
