Changed Competition Environment And Athletic Acclimation Regulation

The changed competition environment is taken as a separate whole object in the study. It is designed to study theoretical analysis and positivistic research for changed competition environment by literature search method, questionnaire method, interview method, testing method for tracking, qualitative method and quantitative method.The theoretical analysis for changed competition environment includes its definition, its mechanism of influence on competition state, its theory model for acclimation regulation. Changed competition environment is defined as " the aggregate of external conditions (matters and backgrounds) that influences competition subject during and after visiting, when competition subject leaves his familiar territory such as city or country and goes to another territory to take part in competition ". Two kinds of changed competition environment, the physical elements as climate, altitude, jet lag and travel, and cultural elements as living conditions, training conditions and competition conditions, are studied in the field. Its influence on performance is realized by the mediate process of athletic competition state. Its influence on competition state is in connection with stress reaction. The degree of reaction is impacted by its stimulation level to athletes and athletic cognitive rationality to it. On the base of the research, its theory model for acclimation regulation is put forward. The model emphasizes that the key is to decrease the stimulation level and raise the cognitive rationality and the way to realization contains natural acclimation and anthropogenic regulation.In terms of the above theory analysis, the aboard competition environment and domestic away competition environment are studied positivisticly, taken as two types of changed competition environment.The results about aboard competition environment indicate that there is facilitation or inhibition about the influence of aboard competition environment on competition state or competition outcome with the different matches, different sports events and individual variation. The main negative environmental factors are different in different changed phrase, such as language, jet lag, journey, repast and residence during initial arrival, repast and language during competition. The main negative environmental factors have variation among different sports events. The degree of its influence on competition state is changed by the phrase. There is statistically significant difference about the main negative environmental factors on group, gender and competition experience. Its regulation scheme is designed from the sides of purposes,contents, measures, stages and principles. Finally, the 27th Sydney Olympic environment is studied deeply as a specific/concrete abroad competition environment, which contains predicting Sdyney competition environmental factors, clearing its detailed regulation, carrying out and feedbacking.As a subordinate concept of changed competition environment, domestic away competition environment is defined as "the aggregate of external conditions that influences competition subject in away court game". Away court disadvantage is defined as "a phenomenon in which away losing percentage is superior to home losing percentage under a balanced home and away schedule". The away court disadvantage can be effectively evaluated by the away/home losing percentage as base evaluation index, the average of losing percentage as quality/reference evaluation index, the away/home losing percentage differential as direct evaluation index. Some negative environmental factors are analyzed such as jet lag, travel, climate, competition arena environment and competition atmosphere. The regulation strategies for away competition environment is offered that emphasizes cultivating the adoption ability to away court environment, to mostly decrease the negative influence of it on athletes during short time.
