Adolescence is a crucial period in which the level of physical fitness rises rapidly in a person's whole life and the foundation of adult health is laid. If we know clearly the characteristics and regularity of the individual's adolescent development and actively bring the advantageous factors into play, we can not only raise the physical fitness of normal teenagers to a higher degree, but also can fully improve and promote the health of those who are weak bodily, even congenitally deficient. At present, scholars at home and abroad have conducted extensive and profound research into the physical fitness of students and the health promotion of schools. They have achieved great progress. However, up to the present, there is no report on the study of using the method of biology, psychology and sociology combined in one to conduct research into the different development types of students in their spurt during adolescence and carrying out the project of health, interference. On the basis of studying many relevant documents and consulting a lot of experts, the indexes for the three aspects of biology, psychology, and sociology were determined. From June to July, 2001, X-ray pictures of wrist bone were taken for 457 boy students born from September, 1987 to August, 1988 from 5 middle schools in Haidian District, Beijing, and for 450 girl students born from September, 1989 to August, 1990 from 3 primary schools in Haidian District, Beijing. From October to December, 2001, 100 boy students and 101 girl students of different development types were selected to receive the tests on the three aspects: biology, psychology, and sociology, and on the basis of these tests, "a health promotion interference pattern for different development types of students in their spurt during adolescence and an interference program of its main risk factors were put forward. The conclusions are as follows:1. Due to the difference in each student's gene and living environment, from the age groups of 10 to 17 years old boys and 9 to 15. 9 years old girls, their bone ages differ greatly for the same age boys or girls who are in their spurt during adolescence. Therefore, bone age was adopted in our study as the standard of dividing the experiment groups, which laid the foundation of a better understanding of the physical fitness of different development types of students in their spurt during adolescence.2. The different development types of students in their spurt during adolescence were tested on the three aspects: biology, psychology, and sociology, and their relevant influence factors were investigated in our study, which led to a better understanding in an all-round way of the physical fitness characteristics of the different development types of students in their spurt during adolescence, a thorough study of their development regularity, a correct way to tackle their problems during development, and a deeper analysis of the cause which influenced their physical and mental development, so as to provide the basis for making relevant policy by the department concerned, and also provide scientific data for monitoring the physical fitness of the people of our country in carrying out "The nation's Health Program".2.1 The physical fitness characteristics of different development types of students in their spurt during adolescence can be summarized as follows: the development of morphology of body parts, function, and the late developing fitness, such as strength, speed and endurance indicates early development group>normal development group> late development group, and there are remarkable differences among the groups. The more mature the bone age is, the higher the development level is. Early development group boys and normal development group boys can evaluate themselves more correctly than the students in four other groups, which means that junior middle school is an important stage of self-conscious development for the students.2.2 The physical and mental development regularity of the different development types of students in t...
