Sociological Research On Talented Women Group Of Ming Dynasty And Qing Dynasty In Jiangnan Regional Society

this article, employing document study, does research on from four parts of six chapters, focus on the group of talented women group in the Jiangnan society of Ming and Qing Dynasties. This research consider Talented women group as a interpersonal type:internal strangers, which will put Talented women group to the sociology of "strangers" theoretical perspective to explore the interpersonal types and their characteristics, then discuss the Talented women group construction the other space by space activities and the complex interaction and inter-constrution between internal strangers and Chinese society.Talented women groups are very popular during the Ming and Qing. Current research focuses on individual research, especially literary studies of talented woman, Few research are explored the talented woman as a small group which mostly from the position of feminist to discuss this phenomenon from female subjectivity, from a sociological point of view to study the talented women group is lack. The use of appropriate theoretical tools to study Talented groups on the sociological typology analysis is the primary task of this study. Talented women groups consists of the inconsistency with the social norms. Thus, this group can be regarded as a interpersonal type:stranger to be analyzed.The study of "strangers" is one of the traditions of western sociological theory. Setting afoot by Simmel, western sociological theory has fallen into two tropisms which are the American study of strangers and European study of strangers. The American tropism puts emphasis on the microscopic study of the stranger typology and the interacting among strangers while the European tropism treats the strangers as the keyword of understanding modernity and last modernity, and sees contemporary as the world of strangers. However, these studies are all consider the stranger as a outsider in a flow society, the main strategy is assimilation and isolation of the dual strategy. However, other than Western society, whether it is applicable to other society in perspective of modernity? Whether liquidity is a major source of strangers in other society like China?through research of Talented women groups, we found that in Chinese society of strangers, its main significance of stranger is not spatial mobility but is itself a member of the community members, and its heterogeneity is not from mobility but generated from the members of society. This stranger is endogenous strangers, talented woman is such an endogenous stranger. Talented women group as a type of i strangers, why have the endogenous stranger? What kind of features it has? This stranger with different from Western strangers and what is the association between Chinese society?What are the endogenous strangers, as a type of interpersonal relationships, in Chinese context? It forms the logistic start of this research and becomes the study implications.The second part is the object of study, research methods and framework established. As a endogenous stranger, why would the Chinese society to develop different treatment strategies of tolerance from the West? This difference reflects the complex interaction between talented women groups in Chinese society.In this study, theoretical tools borrowed on the perspective of social space, research strangers and the interaction between Chinese society and strangers So it is not merely a stranger study at the micro level typology.This research follows Simmel's definition of strangers which treats strangers as the individual which owns endogeneity around us. Its flow ability and endogeneity make it both near and far from us. In physical space, it is near us, but it differs from us in interpersonal interaction which makes it can not be one of us.The capacity Strangers'circulation means that it is a kind of spacial metaphor. It doesn't belong to a fixed spot of some space but the possibility of keeping its own circulation in some space. Therefore, this research based on theories of social space looks space as a container where social orders are formulated and actors construct and scramble for their own spacial definition. Then that finds a medium through which the strangers (micro interpersonal type) meet, scramble with and construct relationships with the macro social structure. It also provides a possibility for strangers and society to construct their relationships. This research focused on talented women group in Ming and Qing,so the mainly method of it is literature research.The third part is empirical studies, including 3-5 chapters. The third chapter mainly discuss the heterogeneity and membership of talented women group, and thus discuss this experience of heterogeneity as an intensive strangers why and how to internally generated in the family space.This study has regarded Chinese traditional society as a regional society: the low flow rate society. In this society, the interpersonal relationship appears the characteristics of deindividuation, the social structure is hierarchical which get the maintenance and supported by the moral discourse. Thus in the microcosmic space, this kind of social order and moral order transform into a vertical interpersonal order (from top to bottom hierarchy) and deindividuation. This kind of human order and the illiquidity of the physical significance coincide together, constituting the Chinese traditional social space:Physics does not flow, social order is the hierarchical, monal order is not reciprocity, interpersonal order is deindividuation.Strangers in this social space are not the flowing strangers in the western sense. On the contrary, their mobility is delimited in locating space and regional society firmly, presenting the characteristics of illiquidity, but their individuality is always kept, and through their individuality which in orientation of space interior will transform public space, private space, spirit space to heterogeneous space:the individual interaction space This heterogeneous space reverse the order of real space. constructing this heterogeneous(other) space outside family space, the Talented women group are changed from intensive stranger or stranger at home to the external and social stranger, which have a particular social position and hardly be classified.Chapter five discusses that On one hand, the talented women as a group of strangers, through a variety of spatial tactics, especially the mobile other space to being social strangers and impact on regional society. On the other hand they observe the reproduction of the order of family space and regional society, their individuality can help the regional society forming order and help a family winning a repute race in regional society, such individualities can be tolerated by the orientation of space.they reserve their own individualities and the heterogeneous space created by themselves. Between the stranger and the regional community has shown a complex interaction,he fourth part is the conclusion and discussion section. Through the analysis of characteristics of endogenous strangers,The study found that stranger must to be placed on specific social/spatial context to define. Space in the home, a stranger is a intensive stranger(experience of heterogeneity), In the construction of heterogeneous (other)space, the inner stranger come into the outer stranger, owning the features of interactivity, heterogeneity and difficult to classification, but is also a member of society. On this basis, this research has given the model that the endogenous strangers in regional society construct mutual through the diachronic between the social space and society and understand why China is a society of endogenous strangers different from the West.
