The Formation And Development Of Adult's Criminal Motivation

Adult' s Crime is an issue relating to Criminal Law and Criminology, while adult' s criminal motivation is an issue relating to Psychology, which include the formation, conflict and externalization of motivation. So we can deconstruct the rule of adult's motivation development by psychological perspective and theories. From life-span development angle of view, this dissertation regards cognitive schema processing as an important axis, and explores the rule model of the formation and development of adults' criminal motivation. Then we still provide several ways to identify and interdict the externalization of criminal motivation.The dissertation's basic viewpoint is as follows: Firstly, Adults' cognitive schema is the basic subject mind to formation of criminal motivation. The need, emotion experience and risk deflection will influence the mental disposition of escapade and crime. Secondly, cognitive schema processing on influence factors of adult's criminal motivation is the important way to form and develop it. Through dynamic cognition, adults can provocate the behavior disposition, and adjust the emotion and expectation to formation of criminal motivation, and vice versa. Thirdly, the most useful solution to interdict adult's criminal motivation is to construct and intergrate the law-abiding schema. The dissertation also provides several measures to interdict the externalization of adult's criminal motivation. Those are as follows: bringing some motives and emotion elements into the scope of Criminal Law evaluation, regulating the judge's judgement, reinforcing the public identification with Criminal Law's value, reducing the situation of crime, leading reasonable ways to satisfy the needs and emotion catharsis. Eventually, we can interdict the criminal motivation's externalization.The main value of this dissertation is providing a new scope to investigate adults' criminal motivation, and advance several ideas to consummate the criminal policy.
