| The study of the development of the enterprises is a very important subject in the in the area of Chinese economic theory. Enterprises as the base and carrier of the modern social economic development are playing an irreplaceable role. On the view of system theory, enterprise is an "open-system". It is bearing the weight of multiple factors such as social economic, technology and culture. It is not only one of the little systems in the giant national economic system, but also is an independent economic system which has a close relationship with social economic system at the same time. It has been proved that the national power will be strengthened with the development of the enterprises.In the long run, there are many achievements in the study area of enterprise development theory. Summarizing the achievements, we can discover that the direction of the various studies. The enterprise development theory is focus on tow parts: one part is the study on the basic nature of the firm——why the firm could exist, what is the boundary of enterprise; the other part is the development of the enterprise management——the divergence between the benefits of deferent enterprise, the deferent growth rate of each enterprise, the strategy, organization structure reform and the essential factors to enterprise development. The flourish prospect of enterprise theoretic study has promoted the enterprise developing practice. But, by analyzing the view of these study achievements, we discover that most of study only focusing on the enterprises their selves. Few theories regard the enterprise as economic system. Few studies focus on the interactive relationship between the enterprise system and the social giant system. There are few discussions on the law and character of enterprise system evolution. By using the Marxism basic law and system theoretic analysis method, with the enlightenments of the recent study achievements in system science, this thesis has make great efforts in this direction (to study the enterprise as the economic system).Enterprise is a typical microeconomic system. The veracity, mul-administritives and non-linearly character of the interaction in enterprise system decide the complexity of enterprise development. Because of the complexity in the internal and external environment of the enterprise system, we cannot use the old measures. The theories and the practice cannot combine perfectly. Compared with the developed countries, we still have a long way to go. Therefore, on the view of evolutionary economic, the study on the law of enterprise development, the dynamic system and the dynamic mechanism of enterprise development is very important to the enterprise developing practice. The study on enterprise system evolution regards the enterprise as a system, and then analyzes its evolving course. As the first concept of evolution, enterprise system evolution refers to the course that the enterprise grows from a little one to a big one, from a week one to a strong one, from a simple one to a complex one; as the second concept of evolution, enterprise system evolution refers to the course that the enterprise develops gradually and change sharply. The concept of enterprise evolution is deferent from the concept of the life cycle of enterprise. The life cycle of enterprise refers to the course of enterprises' born, growth, expansion, recession and death. The theory of enterprise life cycle regards the enterprise as a whole body and on this base analyzes the enterprise growing and developing course, then finds the law of its development. The theory has make emphases on the stage character of enterprise development and its life limit as cooperation. Therefore, the common model enterprise life cycle is a limited-rising curve. It cannot brilliantly expound the complex phenomenon and the new problems in the course of enterprise development.
