Network Economy And Its Development In China

Based on collection and study of massive materials and data at home and aboard, the author clearly defines Network Economy and its composition and differentiates some important concepts such as Network Economy, New Economy, Information Economy and Knowledge-based Economy . A great amount of data and diagrams reveal Network Economy's essential characteristics and its important impact on the operation of macro-economy and micro-economy. This paper also advances a reasonable and coherent theory mainly based on the theory of the division of labor and specialization to analyze and explain the impact of Network Economy. Furthermore, a set of index system of Network Economy's measurement is established to compare the development condition of Network Economy in China and in America and outline the development situation of China's Network Economy in recent years. Some enlightening conclusions are drawn. After theoretic analysis and practical measurement, this paper puts forward the development strategy of China's Network Economy: market mechanism as drive, non-balanced development mode and technological innovation approach characterized by imitative innovation.
