In my PHD dissertation, including nine chapters, is aimed at researching the human skeletons from Lamadong graveyard of Shanyan culture, Beipiao County, Liaoning Province. It is a research by different methods such as ethology, demology, palepathology, and other referenced study such as archaeology and history.1. According to gender and age data from Lamadong graveyard of Shanyan culture, the obituary probability and average life-span of people were calculated. The results show that the sexual proportion between male and female is 1.13: 1, which means the proportion of gender is not balanced. The death rate of male is higher than that of female between age 15 to 23. However, the death rates of both male and female are high between age 24 to 55. This is a common phenomenon in ancient groups in China. It analyzes the gender proportion of and the reasons for the life-span difference between male and female, discovering that the average life-span of female is longer than that of male. In according to the research of archaeology, demology and biology, the author analyzes the proportion of gender and the reason of the life-span difference of male and female.2. The incontiontinuous morphological observation of skulls have been analyzed, It shows that their zygomatic bones are wide and zygomatic-maxillar corners are obvious. They also have a high present rate of crista sagittalis, mandibular torus and shovel incisor. These characteristics show that Lamadong shanyan culture population belongs to Mongoloids. The nonmetric cranial traits show that the rate of Ossicle at lambda, Mylohyoid bridging and Trace of transverse zygomatic suture are low; the rate of the Occipito-mastoid wormian, Precondylar tubercle and Metopic suture are high, eighteen groups were compared with Lamadong material, The results of comparisons show that Lamadong group has closer relation with some groups especially such as Taojiazai group, Taiyuan group and modern Japanese.3. The measurements of the skulls have been analyzed. As shown in the results of examination, the main physical features of male crania are brachycrany, hypsicrany, metriometor, stenometor, mesoprosopy, meseny, mesorrhiny, mesoconchy, brachystaphyiny, orthognathous, orthognathous, prognathous. In addition, the most physical features of female crania are the same, except the cranial index, upper facial index and naso-malar angle. So the author thought that the Lamadong population is a sub-racial.4. Analysis of racial type. According to the comparative result between Lamadong crania and the various types of Asiatic Mongoloids, the author thought that the main physical features of Lamadong crania belong to the Eastern Asiatic Mongoloids, but also some physical features of the Northern-East Asiatic Mongoloids or South Asiatic Mongoloids may be mixed.5. The stature of Lamadong populations have been estimated. The average stature of male is 165.98㎝, and average stature of female is 155.42㎝.6. The results of observation of the pathological conditions in the Lamadong human skeletal are degenerative joint disease, osteoma, tempo-mandibular joint disease, anemia, dental caries, apical abscess, alveolar abscess, dispiacement, supernumerary tooth and scheuermann disease. On the basis of the comparative results of raciological research, combined with some arguments of archaeology and history, the author discussed the nationality of Lamadong population and pointed out that the raciological analyzed result in this paper could be benefit to the Fuyu nationality theory. And the author discussed the meaning of the dietary analysis. The research of molecular biology shows that Lamadong population is complex, it supports the raciological result.
