Identification Research On The Corpus Of Four Extant Name-borrowing Novel In Han Dynasty

Language research can't exist without the corpus.It's vital to choose and use the right corpus.Previous linguistic studies overemphasized the investigation of language phenomena while ignored the text document itself.However it's very difficult to conduct language research with the corpus with many problems.While the result of literary and philology is not suitable for language research.,In this dissertation we attempt to do some research on the text document itself that also called the corpus.We select extant name-borrowing novel in Han Dynasty as the object of this dissertation. Because only a little portion of novels in Han Dynasty were preserved till today,and most of them are name-borrowing novel,so they are very complicated and become the barrier for language research.So,we'll determine its authorship or authenticity, writing ages,the language composition,origination from language perspective. Furthermore,we discover its linguistic character and value so that we can promote the history research of Chinese language especially on novel.The dissertation include three parts.The first part is the first chapter:the Generality.Define and Review "Identification research on the corpus",determine the research object.Point out the value of the research,especially explore the research method to extant name-borrowing novel in Han Dynasty.The second part is from the second chapter to the fifth chapter:case study. Identify the corpus of"Yan-danzi","Shenyi-jing","Hanwu-gushi" and "Xijing-zaji". In this part,we select the master copy,compare the meaning in different contexts, explore the writing age,tell if the corpus is suitable for the language research or not.The last part is Conclusion.We conclude the character of the corpus of name-borrowing novel in Han Dynasty,and show some problems can't be solved in this dissertation.
