Archdeacon Wolfe And C.M.S. In Fujian: 1862-1915

Based on the Archives in Chinese and English, this thesis discusses Rev.Wolfe's missionary work and the development of the Church MissionarySociety (C.M.S) in Fujian. Rev. Wolfe worked in Fujian For 53 years,andbefore 1906,he was in charge of Fujian mission.From 4 aspects,this thesisstudies the history of Rev.Wolfe and Fujian mission.Wish we can get somedeeper understand about the missionary work in morden China by this study.
