Western Marxist theory of literary and art exerts a good many influences upon Chinese contemporary theory of literary and art to which based on both the attraction and the unique affinity. This thesis is mainly to study the impact of Western Marxist theory of ideological critique on Chinese Marxist theory of literary and art back against the sinicization of Chinese Marxist theory of literary and art.From the viewpoint of impact study, this thesis first goes to probe the impact of Western Marxist theory of literary and art, and further, expounds respectively the manifestation of the tradition of Chinese drama and Mao Zedong's Thoughts absorbed into theoretic discourse of such Western theorists as Ernst Bloch, Louis Althusser, Pierre Macherey. The bilateral impact of theory of literary and art between Western Marxist and Chinese Marxist inspires to some extent the sinicization of Chinese Marxist theory of literary and art.The history of ideology comes up for discussion in the second chapter by which this dissertation makes a deep analysis of the truth of the hard-core concept in Marx's theory discourse. Western theorists make a further extension of the dimensionality of class of ideology to that of psychology, language, and every life which is the pivot of the impact of Western Marxist theory of ideological critique on Chinese Marxist theory of literary and art. The study field of this dissertation such as the theory of artistic production and ideology, aesthetic ideology, and aesthetic utopia are established on the base of the situation of the study on Western Marxist theory of ideological criticism and the context of Chinese contemporary theory of literary and art.Both the theory of art production of Western Marxist and that of Chinese Marxist are rooted in the classical interpretation on art production of Marx upon which understanding and dialogue discussed in the third chapter between Marxist theory of literary and art of Western and Chinese are based. As far as the impact of Western Marxist theory of art production on Chinese contemporary theory of literary and art is concerned, this thesis studies the mechanism of impetus, the process of expansion, and the material effect, etc, and then points out that Western Marxist theory of art production in Chinese contemporary theoretical context fades out the emphasis on ideological reproduction in text, meanwhile enlarges the visual field of Chinese contemporary theory on the essence of literary and art, and turns out to be the theoretical resources for the study of Chinese contemporary culture industry.The forth chapter discusses respectively the theory of aesthetic ideology in material context of both Western Marxist and Chinese Marxist, and expounds the field in which Western Marxist theory of ideological critique and Chinese Marxism aesthetic ideology are in conjunction because of the roots in Marx theory on ideological essence of literary and art. The theory of aesthetic ideology, which is one of the important fruit of the sinicization of Chinese contemporary Marxist theory of literary and art, is closely examined in 90's the last century when the study of Western Marxist theory of literary and art makes further advances in the transferring society. This thesis points out that not only does the reflection indicate the expansion of the space thinking in literary and art study, but also disclose the deeply ingrained dual-contrast thinking mode on the essence of literary and art.The fifth chapter emphasizes that the positive thinking about Western Marxism aesthetic utopia should not be in the shade of the negative side. As far as theoretic origin is concerned, Western Marxism aesthetic utopia is rooted in the tradition of Western culture, the aesthetical transcendence, and the theoretic exploration of contemporary Western ideologist. This thesis elucidates the positive side of Western Marxism aesthetic utopia such as the humanistic visual field, the critical spirit, and the dimensionality transcendence of aesthetic, and discusses germs of the concealment. There are cultural dislocations during the dialogue between Western Marxist and Chinese Marxist on transcendence of aesthetic utopia, which indicates to a large extent the loss of humanistic spirit in the overspreading of the ideology of consumerism.
