The second part (chapter IV V VI VII) want to identify the relationship of ShiTao's thought with Chinese traditional culture, indicated that the opinion of ShiTao-"I use the method of myself ", which discusses the traditional paint of literator and landscape paint in Words on art(《画语录》),- made great efforts to blazon forth the individuality, and then, it rooted from the Chinese traditional culture ultimately, which are inosculated Confucianism with Taoism (Buddhism), though the subject is Confucianism. So, Words on art(《画语录》) not only inherited the spirit of Chinese traditional culture, but also developed it. The third part (chapter VIII IX) analyses the unification of nature, art and life in ShiTao's thought again, and emphasizes that his theory, such as "Xu" and "Shi", "Bi" and "Mo", especially his pursuer of "self and "individuality", still has great directing value and referring meaning for the creation of Chinese paint today.
