"Incarnation"is the central doctrine of the Christianity, The meaning is that the Son of God is incarnated to Jesus in order to save mankind from the sin in the world. The contents of the proposition, including the Christ's naissance, revival and the sacrifice on the cross are the important materials in the West art. The whole life of Jesus has been presented in the literature painting sculpture music play and movie. Therefore"incarnation"has the close relationship with the aesthetic activities. We research the aesthetic ingredients in the"Incarnation"and the aesthetic expression about it in the works of art carefully and explain the relationship between the Christianity and the aesthetic activities. It's very important for the research about Christian Aesthetic and the communication between the West culture and the Chinese culture.The dissertation made"incarnation"into belief culture and aesthetic the three visual fields and saw about the relationship between the Christianity and the aesthetic activities through link up with the myth, the image and the tragedy by the method of history, category and analysis about examples.The chapter 1 explains"incarnation"in the range of the Christian belief. The dissertation analyses the great ideas about"incarnation"in the 2000 years and the develop clue is appeared clearly. In order to explain the meaning of"incarnation", the dissertation illuminates its views from what is the Logos, who is Jesus, why to incarnate, when and where the incarnation happened, gives prominence to the synthesis, the contravention and the opening of the concept. Specially, the dissertation explains the deference and the contact between the Logos in the ancient Greek philosophy and the Logos in the Christianity.The chapter 2 takes"incarnation"into the cultural field of vision. At first, the dissertation researches its value of belief and the ethical and the aesthetic values based on the ideas of Plato, Plotinus, Kant and Hegel. Secondly, it studies the criticism of the"Incarnation"in the Biography of Jesus. A method of criticizing the Christianity in the biographies of Jesus has been popular since the 19th century. It's mostly because the Christian doctrine about Incarnation emphasizes that there are both divinity and humanity in Jesus. The biographies of Jesus negate the divinity of Christ entirely with the humanity of Jesus and reject Jesus is the Son of God. But the writers of the biographies have the different negative attitude to Jesus who is the incarnation of God in respect that they are in the different social condition and the different position of the religion.The chapter 3 is the most important part in the dissertation. We scan the"incarnation"in the aesthetic visual angle, and discuss where the"incarnation"...
