Furthermore ,the dissertation including a few Sociologyical study of the magical recording of the Biographies of Eminent Monks in order to get Objective view of this kind of religioous phenomenon.This dissertation is divided into a Introduction four chapters and three Appendix.The Introduction is divided into two sections, which first section discussing the problems such as the reasons the scope and the Purposes of the study .The second section is the study of Overview of the last century to find out the experiences for further studing.Chapter 1: Author of the Biographies of Eminent MonksThis chapter is divided into six sections .The first section investigates matters related to the author, in which most important is the study of Sengguo's postscript.The second section is the study of the Hui Jiao's works. The third section is the study of the writing time of the book.The forth section is the study of the special identity of Hui Jiao. The fifth section is the study of the mahayana background of the book.. The sixth section is the study of the southern academical Influences in the book..Chapter 2: Textual research of the Hui Jiao's the Biographies of Eminent MonksThis chapter is divided into five sections. .The first section investigates .the individual and religious reason of why Hui Jiao emphasize the headline should be eminet not be famous.
